This list of INSCRIPTIONS WAS COPIED November of 1934, under the auspices of the F.E.R.A. and the W.P.A. sponsored by the Connecticut State Library, was compiled under the supervision of Charles R. Hale, State Military Necrologist, assisted by Miss Mary H. Babin, Secretary. Hartford, Connecticut, December, 1937. (-1-*-B-) 1 indicates which cemetery. B indicates location in Center Cemetery G indicates the Catholic section, Center Cemetery. * indicates that the stone has been located, and some of the inscription could be read in 1990. * at the beginning of name indicates a veteran. ? location unknown. CR means, "taken from the Church Record". In 1915 Judge John Reeve and the honorable John Luby, trustees of St. Patrick, purchased and cleared the land for another St. Patrick Cemetery in the center of Burlington. It was maintained by members of the Reeve family until a few years? Ago. This list is continually updated. There will always be errors in these records, notice of any found would be appreciated.
