Introduction Portugal has several Camino routes but the most well known is the Portuguese Camino which starts in Lisbon. Most people don’t have enough time, or energy, to walk the 641 kms (398 miles) so Porto has now become the most popular starting point.

From here, there are two main routes – the Coastal Camino, which spends some, but not all, time by the ocean, and the traditional Portuguese Camino, which stays inland. This Camino takes you from one historic town or city to another with plenty of beautiful scenery and tiny villages in between.

This is a self-guided camino tour where you will walk independently along the trail but have your luggage transferred each day from accommodation to accommodation. In addition, we will provide a 24/7 contact emergency number for the duration of the trip.

NOTE: If you would like to add a guide to accompany you during this trip please let us know and we can quote it for you.
