It was an exciting weekend of curling at the Regina Callie, as they played host to the 2017-2018 Jiffy Lube Junior Men's & Women's Provincial Championships! Team Rylan Kleiter & Team Sara England came away with the titles, and will represent at the 2018 New Holland Canadian Junior Championships Jan.13-21 in Shawinigan, QC! The Viterra Scotties Women's Provincial Championship took place Jan.2-7 at the Northern Lights Palace in Melfort!

The 9 team round robin format leading into a page playoff system determined the 2018 Saskatchewan Champions who will make the trip out west to Penticton, for the 2018 Scotties of Hearts!! Congratulations to Team Sherry Anderson out of the Saskatoon Nutana, defeating North Battlefords Robyn Silvernagle in an extra end 6-5!

The SaskTel Tankard Men's Provincial Championship will take place down at Affinity Place in Estevan, with the first draw starting up Jan. 31 at 2:30 p.m.! The 16 team triple knockout format, leading into a page playoff system will determine this years provincial champions! The men will then represent the green and white on home soil in Regina at the 2018 ! The province of Saskatchewan is excited to officially announce January 31, 2018 as Provincial Day of Curling in Saskatchewan!

The Government of Saskatchewan's Honourable Gene Makowsky, Minister of Parks, Culture & Sport declared the confirmation earlier this fall.

Help celebrate Saskatchewan's official sport in your club this upcoming curling season through 'House Calls in Saskatchewan.' Club grants, Three Farmers products and CURLSASK bracelets will be available to clubs who participate in celebrations.

Need ideas for your club..?? Everything and anything from open house potlucks, school poster competitions, shortie spiels, human curling, bring a friend day & many other fun events you can take part in! Fore more ideas on what clubs have done in the past, please visit the link below!

Please take time to send in the following information to the CURLSASK office to ensure your club is an affiliated member club for the 2017/2018 curling season:

1) Full Membership Lists & Fees 2) MAP Grant Follow Up Forms for 17-18 & Map Grant Applications for 2018-2019 are due January 31!

1) Board of Directors Opportunity - positions open starting in the 2018/2019 season. All documents will me mailed out along with a letter from our the CURLSASK President to each club. Please contact the CURLSASK office with any questions. 2) New Holland Prairieland Summer Camp Registrations will open in February!
