Old Church on the Hill Cemetery Burials LENOX CHURCH ON THE HILL BURIAL GROUNDS The Old Church on the Hill, the Congregational Church, is located at the corner of Main Street and Greenwood Streets in the Town of Lenox, Massachusetts. The cemetery extends westward from the church. The information contained herein was collated in 1999 by Paul A. Pelkey, former Lenox Cemetery foreman from records gathered by Mabel Annie Parsons and Mira Katherine Parsons. The Parson sisters copied inscriptions from each of the grave stones in the cemetery. Nearly illegible stones were studied at different hours and in different lights. When possible, those records which had been deciphered with difficulty were checked with town records. Married women have been indexed under their married name and also that which is believed to be their maiden name.
