  • Grachev out to Upset Undefeated Rodriguez in ‘Monte-Carlo Million Dollar Super Four’
GRACHEV OUT TO UPSET UNDEFEATED RODRIGUEZ IN ‘MONTE-CARLO MILLION DOLLAR SUPER FOUR’ New York, NY / Monaco / Johannesburg (June 13) – Denis Grachev may be the underdog, but he’s training with the will of a champion ahead of his July 13 fight with Edwin Rodriguez for the Million Dollar Super Four crown in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Grachev (13-1, 8 KOs) is holed up at Abel Sanchez’s High Altitude Training Facility in Big Bear, California, where the stable includes WBA and IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, who fights in the US later this month. Grachev earned his place in the final against Rodriguez (23-0, 15 KOs) with a rugged 10-round split-decision defeat of undefeated two-time world champion Zsolt Erdei in Monaco in March. The man who trades by the name “The Son of Drago” stated, it’s been very inspiring to be up in Big Bear, California with world champions like Gennady Golovkin and Zaurbek Baysangurov. Prior to the Erdei fight I was only here for ten days, however this time I’m up here for six weeks which will put me in the best form ever.” “We are high in the mountains, eight of us fighters, just boxing and training. It is hard work, very intensive, with jogging in the morning and much training the rest of the day. I wasn’t in my best shape last time, but this will be different.” Grachev says the fight with Erdei was the hardest of his career. “With his boxing style and experience, it was my most difficult fight.

CREATING A BETTER FUTURE ANNUAL REPORT 2019 OUR CORE VALUES The Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) improves the diagnosis, treatment, and quality of life of people affected by primary immunodeficiency (PI) through fostering a community empowered by advocacy, education, and research. Our core values are inclusion, integrity, and innovation. Inclusion can only occur when everyone within our community and beyond has the opportunity to belong, to be heard, to be valued. To uphold integrity, it’s critically important that we are trustworthy stewards for the PI community, putting their livelihood first. We will embrace challenges head-on with new solutions and ways to strengthen the PI community through innovation. In addition, we commit to serving our constituents with transparency, trust, and compassion. The Immune Deficiency Foundation is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are rare and we are powerful. Like the stripes of a zebra, no two people are the same, and at IDF, we celebrate this uniqueness every day. An inclusive, diverse, and fair workplace makes our community more powerful. At IDF, we build communities and programs for people living with PI. It’s through these services, that they can connect with other individuals, families, and healthcare professionals who are living and working with PI. In 2019, we implemented initiatives to foster relationships within the community, and provide rich and accurate information and resources to thousands. We helped advance research and worked collaboratively with expert clinicians from across the country to better understand patient experiences and improve outcomes. All those living with PI continue to rely on IDF for information and support, which is why we’ve made the commitment to ensure a better future for generations to come.

Welsh* Editors’ Note: In this groundbreaking piece, a group of authors with unimpeachable expertise in one of the least likely environments ever considered for negotiation analyze what is actually going on in the professional boxing ring. Their surprising conclusions take the facile claim of our field that “everybody negotiates” to a whole new level. Not only does this chapter serve as a kind of extreme-case demonstration of why students should consider learning negotiation to be central to any occupation they may take up in future; it might well serve as inspira- tion for some new studies in other fields in which negotiation may previously have been thought irrelevant. Following a punch, Holyfield would lock up with the smaller Mike Tyson, shoulder-to-shoulder, applying force throughout. Holyfield fin- ished the round clearly in the lead.
