Our mission is simple and two-fold: 1) to facilitate trade and commerce between the Caribbean (in particular CARIFORUM countries) and Europe; 2) to promote all types of investment related to economic growth for the region from Europe (in particular the E.U.). WHAT We Do :

• Office based at the Brussels Enterprises Commerce & Industry (BECI), Avenue Louise #500, B-1050 • BECI is a partnership between the Chamber of Commerce and the Union of Enterprises in Brussels, two private non- for-profit organisations, managed by and for their members, based on an inter-professional, multi-lingual and neutral model, which is the same basis for operation of CCCE. • CCCE also joins the Cluster of Chambers of Commerce based at BECI, including EURACEN (Central America), Colombia, , Peru and Chili. CCCE is aiming to complement, not to duplicate or substitute activities of national Chambers of Commerce in the region through • Access to market information & intelligence for specific sectors, as well as (on request) business consultations. • Access to the international matchmaking and community management platform developed for and used by Chambers of Commerce in Europe (see: Connects). • Access to multi-lingual communication and promotion services to bring the diversity and business opportunities the Caribbean has to offer to the forefront of the media and to the attention of other stakeholders, incl. investors. From the Capital of the EU, CCCE can assist Surinamese entrepreneurs, either based in Suriname, or in the Netherlands, to access various EU support programmes that are mainly implemented through the 11th EDF (currently for the period of 2014-2020).
