Access to your hotel

An info desk for Positive Visions for Biodiversity will be available on Monday the 15th November from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm at the airport. Look on your right after you exit the luggage delivery room. Our hostess will be at the Information desk and will help you find the best transportation means.

From 5:30 am till midnight, the train “Airport City Express” links the airport with Brussels train stations Midi and Central four times an hour (A one-way ticket to Brussels costs 5.05 €) The train station is located in the basement (level -1) of the terminal building itself. Get off at Gare du Midi if your hotel is close to the conference venue (i.e.: Apart’hotel Citadines, Izan Avenue Louise, Mercure Brussels Center Louise, Le Châtelain, Agenda Louise, Floris Louise, Thon Bristol Stephanie, Beau-Site, White Hotel, Sheraton Four Points, Beverly-Hills Hotel, Rembrandt Hotel, Louise Hotel…) If you booked an hotel in the city center, stop at “Gare Centrale” (Central Station).

From Midi Station to the conference venue district (i.e. hotels: Apart’hotel Citadines, Izan Avenue Louise, Mercure Brussels Center Louise, Le Châtelain, Agenda Louise, Floris Louise, Thon Bristol Stephanie, Beau-Site, White Hotel, Sheraton Four Points, Beverly-Hills Hotel, Rembrandt Hotel, Louise Hotel…), it takes no more than 10 minutes by taxi or 15 minutes by public transport. The metro line is the number 2, direction Simonis, stop at "Louiza/Louise"

Access to Management Centre Europe (MCE) The conference will take place at the Management Centre Europe (MCE). It is located in the "Place du Châtelain" district. This neighborhood is easily accessible by public transport. There are also several private parkings operated nearby.

From Brussels Central Station (if you stay in the city center): Take bus no. 38 (estimated time 30 min) and ask the driver to stop at "rue Van Eyck". From there, cross "Chaussée de Vleurgat" and take "rue Amécaine". You will get to a square surrounded by trees that is called Place Alb. Leemans. From that square, MCE is within walking distance, first street to the left from "Rue Washington" (estimated time 5min)

From Brussels Midi / Zuid Take metro line 2, direction Simonis, and stop at the 3rd metro-station "Louiza/Louise". From here you can take tram 94 (direction "Hermann- Debroux") and get off at the 3rd stop “Bailli”. From here you can walk to the MCE building. From Brussels Midi, you can also take tram line 81, direction "Montgomery" (estimated time 20 minutes). Get off at la Trinité. From here you can walk to the MCE building.
