WATER STANDBY ASSESSMENT REPORT (“Report”) Has Been Prepared and Filed with the District Secretary NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held before the Victorville Water District Board of Directors at its meeting on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 14343 Civic Drive, Victorville, California for the purpose of hearing arguments for and against determinations to fix, levy and collect water standby charges as set forth in the following resolutions: RESOLUTION NO. VWD 21-009 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE VICTORVILLE WATER DISTRICT MAKING ITS DETERMINATIONS TO FIX, LEVY AND COLLECT STANDBY CHARGES FOR WATER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NUMBER ONE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022 RESOLUTION NO. VWD 21-010 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE VICTORVILLE WATER DISTRICT MAKING ITS DETERMINATIONS TO FIX, LEVY AND COLLECT STANDBY CHARGES FOR WATER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NUMBER TWO FOR FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022 A WATER STANDBY ASSESSMENT REPORT (“Report”) has been prepared and filed with the District Secretary. The Report contains a description of each parcel of real property and the amount of the water standby charges for each parcel for the fiscal year 2021-2022. The Report is available for inspection at City Hall located at 14343 Civic Drive, Victorville, California. In the event that City Hall is closed to the general public pursuant to the State Emergency Services Act and Governor’s Emergency Declaration (Order N-29-20) related to COVID-19, the Report shall be available on the City’s website at www.victorvilleca.gov/government/legally-required-postings. Any person may appear at the hearing and be heard in support of, or in opposition to the proposed item. Comments may be made via email to [email protected] no later than 4 p.m. on July 20, 2021; by mail prior to or during the meeting, but before the close of the public hearing, to City Clerk, 14343 Civic Drive, Victorville, CA 92392; and/or by following the directions on the posted agenda notice for the July 20, 2021 meeting for participating and viewing via Zoom or YouTube. Any persons wishing to challenge the decision on the above item in court may be limited to raising only those issues they or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Victorville at, or prior to, the public hearing.
