Green at Cardinals practice today looked like the 2015 version,” Riddick tweeted. “He was on fire. Arizona has the potential to have top-five wide receiver group with DHop, AJ, Rondale Moore, and Christian Kirk.” The Cardinals have lots of depth now at QB: Kyler Murray saw his first snaps this preseason, but the wide receiver position with the additions for Green it was evident Kliff Kingsbury sees little value in giving and Moore this offseason. his superstar quarterback an extended preseason look. • Pittsburgh Steelers Add Speed, Depth in Latest Seven-Round Mock Draft
Pittsburgh Steelers Add Speed, Depth In Latest Seven-Round Mock Draft Author : ,The Pittsburgh Steelers may have been the team to beat in the AFC in 2017 if not for the fact the New England Patriots broke protocol and made a huge splash in free agency. The black and gold have a lot of catching up to do. The offseason began with the news quarterback Ben Roethlisberger may not play this year, as he was pondering retirement. It was followed by new that the team signed wide receiver Antonio Brown to a four-year, $68 million deal, locking up the Pro Bowl player for the foreseeable future as the league’s highest-paid pass catcher. Once free agency started, the team was hit with the news that veteran linebacker Lawrence Timmons was taking his talents to South Beach to play for the Miami Dolphins. The Pittsburgh Steelers will miss the veteran’s presence on the field but can help themselves in the draft by adding more defensive talent. 1 / 4 Wait a minute; are we not talking about this very topic each year? The Steelers always seem to need help on the defensive side of the ball and yet they continue to challenge for a playoff berth and a Super Bowl run. The Pittsburgh Steelers need help in the secondary and at linebacker (a replacement for Timmons). As in other years, this franchise will take the best players available to fit their needs. In addition, at some point, the topic of finding Roethlisberger’s replacement needs addressing. Here is how I see the Pittsburgh Steelers draft playing out.

Due to the success of our Preseason Guide, we decided to handcraft a special Preseason “Welcome” Guide, that is, an eBook dedicated to informing Steelers Nation of all of the newly signed players wearing a Steelers uniform this season. Once again the Steelers only dipped their toes into free agency, so while there aren’t many new faces, there are quite a few who could have an immediate impact on the team; including Pittsburgh’s first three draft picks. Our guide will begin with free agent signings, followed by the 2016 NFL Draft selections. Other notable players in camp, if included, are listed after those subsets of players. (Note: due to the nature of “camp bodies,” or, players who are on the 90 man offseason roster, but unlikely to be in contention for a spot on the active roster and/or practice squad after the preseason, their names have not been includ- ed, but may be added as position battles heat up, so stayed tuned for updates to this guide as the preseason progress- es.
