As Christmas is upon us, Cartoon Network’s hit series We Bare Bears ushers in beary Christmas season to spread festive cheer and merriment in Ngong Ping 360. Dressed in Christmas costumes, We Bare Bears’ beloved brothers – Grizzly, Panda and Ice Bear are sure to bring a splash of joy to all guests, unleashing the most delightful Christmas and New Year celebration. Since 2015 on Cartoon Network, original animated comedy We Bare Bears has captured the hearts of audiences all over the world and entertained a large fanbase in Hong Kong. It tells the tales of three cute bear brothers who live in a cave on the outskirts of forest but who are savvy about modern world. They are masters of taking selfies, fans of food trucks, and chasers of internet fame, while trying to fit in and turn ordinary situations into laugh-out-loud moments. These cuddly bears are coming to Ngong Ping 360 this festive season to spread seasonal happiness. Come and get together with Grizzly, Panda and Ice Bear and take a bear-hug selfie (or bear-fie) with them! This year, Ngong Ping 360 is collaborating with We Bare Bears to host “We Bare Bears Holiday Hangout” between November 28 2019 and January 5, 2020. Featuring two giant photogenic installations namely Classic Hong Kong Kong-Style Milk Teacup and Festive Merry-Go-Round – it’s time for you to get up- close with the cuddly bears. In addition, Ngong Ping Village will also play host to Hong Kong’s first We Bare Bears Selfie Gallery. The Selfie Gallery is home to five sparkling selfie spots for taking picture-perfect photos with the Bears. Among the highlights are the shimmering neon light installations that create an unforgettable festive atmosphere to be shared with families and friends. In order to extend our warm welcome to the bears, Ngong Ping 360 will treat Gizzly, Panda and Ice Bear with Hong Kong-style snacks and drinks. Join We Bare Bears Christmas Handmade Snacks Workshop to learn how to make traditional spring onion pancakes or make your own cuppa in Hong Kong-Style Milk Tea Workshop. In the Milk Tea Workshop, International KamCha Champion Chan Tsz Ping will show you his secrets in making the best cup of tea so you can savour Hong Kong’s most iconic drink this festive season. Be sure to also visit We Bare Bears Chocolate Workshop where you can make your own bear-shaped chocolate! Don’t forget to check out We Bare Bears Meet and Greet – Grizzly, Panda and Ice Bear will be greeting guests and spreading “pawsitivity” through their warm bear hugs! Stupa Square will be transformed into a winter wonderland filled with festive atmosphere. Bedazzled by a 3-metre-tall brightly coloured Christmas tree and two giant installations – a gigantic milk tea cup and a merry-go-round. Immerse yourself in festive spirit and joy this Christmas! Let’s play hide-and-seek with We Bare Bears, you will find Panda in the giant milk tea cup while Grizzy and Ice Bear are preparing the Christmas presents at merry-go-round. Come and celebrate Christmas with the trio! Take advantage of the arrival of the bears! In their signature form of travel, the cute bears will be waiting for guests at the We Bare Bears’ Bear Stack Installation and don’t forget to take a picture with playful Grizzly who will be waving on top of his brothers. Hong Kong’s First We Bare Bears Selfie Gallery Instragram Hotspot – Whimsical Neon Light Installation No Christmas experience is complete without greeting the adorable bears. Walking with Buddha will be transformed into We Bare Bears Selfie Gallery featuring five dazzling installations – Sparkling Neon Cable Car, We Bare Bears Christmas Wreath, Lovable Bear Journey Shimmering, Bear Floral Tunnel and Beary Frosty Snowflakes. Wander through the gallery, We Bare Bears are already taking pictures at different Instagrammable spots. With the glowing installation, indulge in the festive cheers with Ngong Ping 360 Christmas adventure. Sparkling Neon Cable Car We Bare Bears Christmas Wreath Sparkling Neon Cable Car is an exquisite luminous photogenic spot where adorable bear brothers are striking poses for you to take “bear-fies” with. Snap a selfie with the beloved bears and spectacular cable-car-shaped neon to impress friends and spread the festive joy. This dazzling neon artwork is a great way to spread seasonal cheer. We Bare Bears Christmas Wreath adorned with glittering Christmas Holly is waiting for fans and families to strike a pose and take a one-of-a-kind hilarious selfie with the beloved bears. To extend a warm welcome to We Bare Bears, Ngong Ping 360 has especially prepared a Traditional Spring Onion Pancake and Hong Kong-style Milk Tea Workshop for the bears to have a taste of Hong Kong. Hong Kong-style milk tea was listed within the First Intangible Cultural Heritage Inventory of Hong Kong in 2014. This year Ngong Ping 360 has especially invited International KamCha Champion Chan Tsz Ping who has over 25 years of experience in pouring Hong Kong-style milk tea to demonstrate and share his tips and secrets in making the perfect cuppa. The Cartoon Network Hotel will be the premier family lodging experience in Central Pennsylvania. Joining a global portfolio of great Cartoon Network family experiences, the Network’s first hotel will feature 165 rooms and immerse guests in the animation and antics of characters from shows like Adventure Time, We Bare Bears, and The Powerpuff Girls. Through a combination of character animation and creative technology, the entire property will offer fun and unexpected ways to experience the animated worlds of Cartoon Network from the moment of arrival. The nine-acre destination will feature an interactive lobby with surprises around every corner, a brand-new resort-style pool and water play zone, an outdoor amphitheater with an oversized movie screen, lawn games, fire pits and more! The experience continues inside, where each guest room and suite will feature interchangeable show theming that can be customized around children’s preferences to make each visit a new adventure. An indoor pool, game room, kids play area, and Cartoon Network store will keep the fun going regardless of the season. The Cartoon Network Hotel is centrally located along the Route 30 commercial stretch in the heart of Lancaster County and is just steps from the castle doors of Dutch Wonderland Family Amusement Park.     Cartoon Network Partners with 826 National to Create the First Inclusion Storytelling Project Thursday, December 7, 2017 Cartoon Network Partners with 826 National to Create the First Inclusion Storytelling Project Encourages Students to Share Their Stories as Part of “Stop Bullying: Speak Up” Cartoon Network is expanding its award-winning, “Stop Bullying: Speak Up” campaign by partnering with 826 National to launch the Inclusion Storytelling Project, which encourages youth across the country to share their individual stories about kindness and empathy in an effort to stop bullying before it starts. Working in collaboration with Cartoon Network, 826 National and its network of eight internationally celebrated youth writing organizations created inclusion-themed writing workshops for elementary and middle school students to inspire stories of compassion and understanding. Hundreds of students from the 826 Network participated in the project, and the students’ fiction and nonfiction stories will be compiled into eight illustrated publications. Each of the 826 Network chapters will host a local book release event, during which these young authors will share their work with the community. “Many of the students we serve at 826 come from traditionally under-resourced communities that are most affected by our changing political and cultural landscape,” said Laura Brief, CEO of 826 National. “We believe our students have the power and perspective to end a pervasive culture of bullying, and we are so excited to partner with Cartoon Network in sharing their stories and voices on a national scale.” The 826LA Echo Park location will be the first of eight chapters to release and celebrate student work from the Inclusion Storytelling Project with an event on Thursday, December 7 from 2:45-4:15pm.

    Asian-Americans Solidarity through We Bare Bears Series Case Study: Money Man Episode Alfi Zulfa Nooraida 1, Meidia Rea Smithiana 2 {[email protected] 1,[email protected] 2} 1,2 Universitas Indonesia, Jakarta, Indonesia Abstract. Since We Bare Bears Series was released in 2014, it has not been analysed by academicians especially on Money Man episode. In Money Man episode of We Bare Bears Series tells about life of Asians-Americans. The purpose of research is to analyze the message in the Money Man episode of We Bare Bear series . The research collaborates the close reading method, focusing on the characterization, identifying the plot and elaborates the recent research findings for collective action Asians-Americans. The findings show the competition process between two Asians-Americans, occurs when Chloe Park and Saanvi Patel were competing each other to get the grants from Dr Bean, the symbolism disappearance of grantor as the event of economic changes, and the solidarity were made. This episode has different opinion from findings of the recent research which stated the economic and demographic changes predicted to intergroup competition between Asians and Non-Asians has no effects on the rate of pan-Asian collective action. The message of the Money Man episode shows that Asian-Americans seemed to compete each other, but as minorities they would actually unite to survive in the area where minorities repressed because of the White Supremacy rhetoric that still presents around their environments. INTRODUCTION The recent research about Asian-Americans collective action, the occupational segregation generates pan-ethnic group especially Asian-Americans through the intergroup interaction, common economic interest, and membership in a community of faith.

However, this concept of slant does not account for the broader network, which, like the singular program, cultivates a catalog of programming into a singular slanted message becoming an ecosystem of shows relying on each other to maintain viewership.
