EVENT INFO on Wednesday July 5, Some of Foxtel's Biggest Shows And FAQs EVENT INFO On Wednesday July 5, some of Foxtel’s biggest shows and celebrities will hit Townsville for a never before seen back-to-back live show series. Everyone is invited to this free event, where the stars of FOX SPORTS and SKY NEWS’ Paul Murray will broadcast to live studio audiences. Between 3:00pm-9:00pm there’ll be heaps of fun for everyone with games, food trucks and footy clinics as well as the chance to get up close and personal with your favourite Foxtel superstars including Gorden Tallis, Mal Meninga, Mark Skaife, Jess Yates, Yvonne Sampson and Paul Murray. *This event is being held within the event precinct of the Watpac Townsville 400. On 5 July it will still be a hive of activity as the finishing touches are made in preparation for racing which commences on 7 July! Please keep this in mind and stay within the Foxtel activation and Civic Theatre site for your safety. LOCATION Townsville Civic Theatre DATE & TIME Wednesday 5 July 2017: 3:00pm-9:00pm LIVE BROADCAST TIMES FOX SPORTS Inside Supercars: 4:00pm-5:15pm Queenslanders Only: 5:30pm-6:15pm FOX SPORTS League Life live broadcast: 7:30pm-8:00pm Paul Murray LIVE broadcast: 9:00pm-11:00pm GETTING THERE Pedestrian access: All patrons will need to walk through the Townsville State High School car park and walk toward the pedestrian bridge. There will be a break in the concrete barriers next to the pedestrian bridge where a traffic controller will help facilitate pedestrian movement across the track. Open from 3:00pm onwards. Parking: Parking will be available at Townsville State High School and is accessible only via First Street. Open from 3:00pm onwards. There will be a security guard positioned at the front. Drop offs: The drop off area is on First Street outside the basketball courts. All patrons will need to walk through the Townsville State High School car park and walk toward the pedestrian bridge. There will be a break in the concrete barriers next to the pedestrian bridge where a traffic controller will help facilitate pedestrian movement across the track. Open from 3:00pm onwards. DO I NEED TO PAY TO ATTEND? This is a free event. Register now to secure your spot! www.foxtel.com.au/townsvilletour AGE RESTRICTION FOR LIVE SHOWS Any children attending must be over the age of 5 and accompanied by a guardian. DRESS CODE Smart casual. Please wear enclosed shoes. BAGS & PERSONAL BELONGINGS All bags will be searched and any bag larger than a small back pack will not be allowed into the venue. There will not be a cloak room at the event. CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINKS TO THE VENUE? All guests that attend a live show will receive a voucher to be used at one of our food trucks. Each voucher will be redeemable for a special food and drink combo. Additional food will be available for purchase and there will be a cash bar available for all other beverages. Upon entering a live show, food and drink CANNOT be taken into the Civic Theatre. HOW DO I REGISTER? To register to become part of the live studio audience head to: www.foxtel.com.au/townsvilletour The online form will ask for your contact details and number of people in your party (this should be a maximum of 10 people to ensure as many different people can come – we don’t want people registering for 10 people and only 2 showing up). By registering for each live show, you will receive an email confirmation to confirm your tickets. An email reminder will be sent to your nominated email address prior to the event. WHAT IF I CAN’T GO ANYMORE? Please email [email protected] with your full name and the number of people in your party. IS THE NUMBER OF REGISTRATIONS CAPPED? Registrations will be cut off once the maximum number of people for each show is reached. IS THERE A REGISTRATION CUT-OFF DATE? Registrations will be cut off soon as the venue reaches capacity, so hurry – register now! CAN I WIN ANYTHING AT THE EVENT? All attendees will have the chance to win some amazing prizes, including a VIP Supercars Pass including a hot lap thanks to Nissan Motorsport, Cowboys tickets, merchandise and more!
