2. Review of Last Meeting ICRC  ICRC did not receive Greenlight from GAD to provide Plywood in Sadung Compound. ICRC will stop the project

3. Cluster Update

Ka Bu Dam COC CMC requested 19 new Shelters units for 19 HHS in this camp. These families are living under the tent provided last year.

Mai Yu Lay New Camp

ICRC NSS, NRC, KBC shared in NSS Cluster meeting that Land have identity for 35HHs. NRC wanted to be a part of the shelter project for those 35 HHS

Nong Pon

6 HHS from Ma Hawng RC, Moegaung Township Already Moved to Nong Pon Relocation Site. The remaining are 14 HHs from Jan Mai Kaung RC and Pa La Na RC.

Shelter Gaps - The total shelter gap reported in February equals close to 1.76 million USD that included New shelters, Renovation, Care and maintenance

4 Updates from Partners (including New Displacements/Shelter interventions/NFI distribution)

SI - No update for MKN - New displaced in areas due to recent conflict and now some new arrivals in KBC camp and RC Camps ( Catholic compound)

- Will distribute food assistant for new arrivals (one month or 2 month ) Shalom 1) New Arrival update - 1 HHs new arrival in Tat Kone Emanuel Church almost 3 months Shalom Requested to but still not receive food assistance. Registration is already done. KMSS to follow up for - New Arrivals in Tat Kone Coc and Wai Maw Camps food assistant 3 HHs, 7 PP in Tat Kone Coc 1 HH 5 PP in Wai Maw - Food Assistant will be needed for New arrivals in Tat Kone Coc and Wai Maw 2) NFIs for New Arrival - Already requested to UNHCR for New Arrivals

3) Shelter Update 3.1 New Shelter constructed - 5 Shelter Units in Dhama Rakhita, Nyein Chan Tar Yar Ward(Lon Khin), Township ( Not attached with Kitchen) - 5 Shelter attached with Kitchen in Mu-yin Baptist Church , - 5 Shelter attached with Kitchen in Lisu Boarding-House, Bhamo 3.2 Renovation - 18 Units in KBC camp, Chipwi Township - 8 Units in Lhaovao Baptist Church (LBC), Chipwi Township 3.3 Care and Maintenance - 35 Units in Chipwi KBC camp, Chipwi Township - 26 Units in Lhaovao Baptist Church (LBC), Chipwi Township - 7 Units in Tatkone COC Camp 3.4 Gap - 15 Units will be needed for 15 HHS in Lhaovao Baptist Church (LBC), Chipwi Township, as Church Community requested IDPS to move 15 Units from the Church compound into another location 4) Other At present, IDPs in Yoe Kyi Monastery, Bhamo needed to relocate to another place ( Return package for return IDPs) Shelter support also needed - Waimaw Muyin Camp will be also relocate next year

ICRC - 37 out of 365 Units already done for Renovation( Major Repair) as Pilot project - 14 Units constructed in by ICRC Ta Gun Taing Monastery (Shwe Kyi Na), Shelter materials for 5 Units provided to CMC

DRC - Now tender Process to build 52 shelters in Loije Lisu Camp ( Location 1), Moemauk Township - 21 Units in Phan Khar Kone, Bhamo is process

KBC 1) New Arrival Update 1.1 update - KBC went Sumprabum in Feb PP update population ( 109 HHS, 1033pp , Salang yang Camp, Ndup yang, Nhtang Zup village, Sara Bum village, Nlang village) - Food is secured upto May 2018 ( KBC and Metta will cover) - NFI ( 120 Tarpaulin provided, 190 Touch light provided, GBV, and Psychosocial supported) - KBC used fund from Emergency funds ( Oxfarm, KBC, JST, and ECHO) - KBC will request needed Tarpaulin to UNHCR 2) NFI for New Arrival - New arrival in Moemauk KBC camp - Suggested Bhamo KBC to request NFIs to UNHCR Bhamo 3) Other Update - IDPs in KBC camp plan to move nearby church own land in Mid of April 2018 as church cannot accommodate in the church compound and church provide another compound - Humanitarian intervention will be needed - KBC requested Cluster to figure out whether Government will agree to set up camp in Tanai - At present camps are not recognize as IDPS camps in Tanai - KBC want to start for humanitarian respond as soon as camps are recognize as camp - At present, WASH is Covered by KMSS-M and Food is managed by METTA Development Foundation. 4) Shelter - 231 Units with MHF in Lana zup ja, is ongoing - 30 units in Mai Hkawng KBC camp, Mansi Township is under tender process - Hope that Shelter gaps assessment( Renovation and C&M) will be completed end of May 2018 - 15 Units gap in Shing Jai Camp, Wai Maw Tawnship and around 80 units for Minor repair or C&M 4.1 Concern related to Shelter

- Renovation will not be the best option for shelters that constructed in the first phase of Emergency due to the quality of Wood quality To be discussed in the and other low-priced materials). As renovation need to be done Shelter TWIG

every year and it can cost more than construction of new unit. Technically, replacement (new unit) will be the best option of shelter that were built during emergency (before 2012, early stage of 2011 until 2012). - Shelter gaps could be more after assessment KMSS-M 1. Resettlement Areas 6 HHs from already move to resettlement areas but 14 families from Myiktyina Township are waiting green light from Government. They will move as soon as the Government KMSS to follow up with approves to shift from one township to another. DDM. 1.1 Shelters Covered by UNHCR 1.2 WASH Covered by UNICEF ( Almost completed) 1.3 Livelihood - Nothing yet but already requested to Trocaire (plan to start by September 2018. - Mogaung Church community planning to provide a plot of land for IDPs to do farming/ Slash and Burn. - Still cannot provide any technical support ( tools)

2. New Arrival - At present there are 26 HHs new arrival in Pa La Na camp. NFIs already for 20 HHs and will request to UNHCR for the rest. - Food assistance will not cover them until April - More new IDPs arriving from Sumprabum 2.1 Shelter and WASH with ICRC - 10 Shelter Units requested ( For new arrivals) - 2 Units attached Toilet ( total 4) ( New and Old) - 2 Units Bathroom ( New and Old) - 2 Wells - Electric assistant ( New and Old) * Only request 10 units because some families will move to Mogaung Nong Pon resettlement area. The rest can be accommodated in empty shelters. 2.2 Gap - Firewood and Hygiene kits

5 Agency/Partners’ updates

Action points 1. Request Cluster partners to come up with some suggestion for monthly Cluster Analysis Report to make it more user friendly 2. Shelter Technical working Group meeting will be organized when all the Shelter party have agreed to do it somewhere in May or June, 2018 to discuss shelter design 3. Camp profiling will be presented Mid of May 2018

UNFPA

GBV working group is to integrate GBV interventions in humanitarian response including in CCCM, Shelter and NFI using the Inter Agency Standing Committee (IASC) guidelines for Integrating GBV in Humanitarian Action. Will work very closely with all actors including Shelter, NFI, CCCM and implement the recommendations made that ultimately prevent GBV and other safety concerns of women and girls.
