Mike Clay's 2020 NFL Projection Guide Updated: 9/10/2020 Glossary: Page 2-33: Team Projections Page 34-44: QB, RB, WR and TE projections Page 45-48: Category Leader projections Page 49: Projected standings, playoff teams and 2021 draft order Page 50: Projected Strength of Schedule Page 51: Unit Grades Page 52-61: Positional Unit Ranks Understanding the graphics: *The numbers shown are projections for the 2020 NFL regular season (Weeks 1-17). *Some columns may not seem to be adding up correctly, but this is simply a product of rounding. The totals you see are correct. *Looking for sortable projections by position or category? Check out the projections tab inside the ESPN Fantasy game. *'Team stat rankings' is where each team is projected to finish in the category that is shown. *'Unit Grades' is not related to fantasy football and is an objective ranking of each team at 10 key positions. The overall grades are weighted based on positional importance. The scale is 4.0 (best) to 0.1 (worst). A full rundown of Unit Grades can be found on page 51. *'Strength of Schedule Ranking' is based on 2020 rosters (not 2019 team record). '1' is easiest and '32' hardest. See the full list on page 50. *Note that prior to the official release of the NFL schedule (generally late April/early May), the schedule shown includes the correct opponents, but the order is random *Have a question? Green at Cardinals practice today looked like the 2015 version,” Riddick tweeted. “He was on fire. Arizona has the potential to have top-five wide receiver group with DHop, AJ, Rondale Moore, and Christian Kirk.” The Cardinals have lots of depth now at QB: Kyler Murray saw his first snaps this preseason, but the wide receiver position with the additions for Green it was evident Kliff Kingsbury sees little value in giving and Moore this offseason. his superstar quarterback an extended preseason look. He played nine snaps against the Chiefs before giving TE: The tight end position remains one of the big way to Colt McCoy and Chris Streveler. Those nine question marks. Maxx Williams sits at the top of the snaps were discouraging, as Murray took two sacks and depth chart, but it is muddied with Darrell Daniels, only completed one pass. -

(AP) — The soon-to-be for sale Carolina Panthers have two more reasons to be optimistic about making a late postseason run before owner Jerry Richardson sells the team. Not only did rookie running back Christian McCaffrey have one of his most productive days as a pro, but the Panthers (10-4) fi nally got three-time Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen fi rmly back in the offensive mix on Sunday. Olsen, who has missed most of the season with a broken foot, looked like his old self with nine catches for 116 yards and a touchdown in a 31-24 win over the Green Bay Packers . McCaf- frey had 136 yards from scrimmage and a TD. Panthers quarterback called it “The Caucasian Invasion.” “Those guys came in and had a great game,” said Newton, who threw for four touchdowns. “We are going to need that more moving forward.” Olsen had only four catches for 38 yards coming into the game. “Once you get going, it’s funny how the game really starts get- ting into a rhythm and you feel like every ball is going to come your way,” Olsen said. McCaffrey started the game for the Panthers and touched the ball nine times on the opening drive, which he capped with a Detroit Lions tight end Eric Ebron (85) stretches over Chicago Bears inside linebacker Danny 7-yard TD catch. -

2020 GAME CAPSULES WEEK 16 SUNDAY – MONDAY MATCHUPS by Matt Wilson Fantasysharks.Com Senior Writer
2020 GAME CAPSULES WEEK 16 SUNDAY – MONDAY MATCHUPS By Matt Wilson FantasySharks.com Senior Writer This is the final edition of our VIP Report Game Capsules for 2020. Thank you for reading. Have a safe and Happy New Year! -- Matt Wilson INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (10-4) PITTSBURGH STEELERS (11-3) SUNDAY, DECEMBER 27 TH 1 :0 0 P.M. ET HEINZ FIELD PITTSBURGH, PA LINE: PICK ’ EM OVER/UNDER: 4 3 .0 INDIANAPOLIS COLTS INJURIES TO MONITOR: Philip Rivers (toe), Marcus Johnson (quad), Mo Alie-Cox (knee), Jack Doyle (quad) BYE: Week 7 The Indianapolis Colts are 10-4 but still haven’t clinched a playoff berth. If the Baltimore Ravens lose, a win against the Pittsburgh Steelers will punch the Colts’ ticket to the postseason. If the Tennessee Titans lose to the Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis will win the AFC South. QUARTERBACK MATCHUP Philip Rivers continues to play his best football of the season, but the Pittsburgh Steelers have permitted the second-fewest passing yards and the ninth-fewest touchdown strikes. A moderate from Rivers is the best you can expect. RUNNING BACK MATCHUP Jonathan Taylor has received heavy workloads in recent weeks, but you should dial back your expectations for him since the Steelers defense has yielded the seventh-fewest rushing yards and the fewest fantasy points to running backs. Because of the tough rushing matchup, Nyheim Hines will see more action than usual in a pass-catching role. I like his chances for a score. WIDE RECEIVER MATCHUP The Steelers defense has permitted the ninth-fewest wideout fantasy points, and Pittsburgh is usually stingier versus the pass at home. -
