The four elements provide the framework for many esoteric systems, including Wiccan magick, astrology, palmistry and, of course, tarot. There is a fifth element, which is ether, or spirit. The Major Arcana is often considered the suit of ether, while the four elements are ascribed to the four suits of the Minor Arcana. This is fitting because the Major Arcana, or “Greater Secrets,” contains the greatest spiritual messages and lessons of all the 78 cards. The Major Arcana contains Card 0, The Fool, who represents each one of us on our journey through life. The Major Arcana cards 1-21, and the four suits of the Minor Arcana, symbolize the events, lessons and characters we meet upon that journey. The Major Arcana is often called “The Fool’s Journey,” as each card marks an important milestone on the Fool’s path to spiritual enlightenment. -

Celtic Egyptians: Isis Priests of the Lineage of Scota
Celtic Egyptians: Isis Priests of the Lineage of Scota Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers – the primary creative genius behind the famous British occult group, the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn – and his wife Moina Mathers established a mystery religion of Isis in fin-de-siècle Paris. Lawrence Durdin-Robertson, his wife Pamela, and his sister Olivia created the Fellowship of Isis in Ireland in the early 1970s. Although separated by over half a century, and not directly associated with each other, both groups have several characteristics in common. Each combined their worship of an ancient Egyptian goddess with an interest in the Celtic Revival; both claimed that their priestly lineages derived directly from the Egyptian queen Scota, mythical foundress of Ireland and Scotland; and both groups used dramatic ritual and theatrical events as avenues for the promulgation of their Isis cults. The Parisian Isis movement and the Fellowship of Isis were (and are) historically-inaccurate syncretic constructions that utilised the tradition of an Egyptian origin of the peoples of Scotland and Ireland to legitimise their founders’ claims of lineal descent from an ancient Egyptian priesthood. To explore this contention, this chapter begins with brief overviews of Isis in antiquity, her later appeal for Enlightenment Freemasons, and her subsequent adoption by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. It then explores the Parisian cult of Isis, its relationship to the Celtic Revival, the myth of the Egyptian queen Scota, and examines the establishment of the Fellowship of Isis. The Parisian mysteries of Isis and the Fellowship of Isis have largely been overlooked by critical scholarship to date; the use of the medieval myth of Scota by the founders of these groups has hitherto been left unexplored. -
TAROT the World and the Empress
TAROT The World and The Empress (21/3) The archetypal system of Tarot is ancient. Although records link its beginnings to the Middle Ages, there are indications of its origination occurring much earlier – perhaps even by thousands of years and from distant civilizations. The Tarot represents and reflects (it is) the story of life: each card is a micro-story of the profound, deeply-embedded and commonly-lived experiences of our human journey. Your core Tarot encoding is unveiled by adding your individual birth numbers together and reducing them down: in this case, your encoded major arcana Tarot archetype is #3 The Empress. Expounding on this archetype, your birth numbers have also been added in such a way (a system developed by the Amberstones) as to bring forward one (and sometimes two) other major arcana archetypes that also live within you. Together, these symbiotic fields of energy create an additional dynamic and unveil the complexities of your Soul Print’s distinct journey. _______________________________________________________________________________________ You are the energetic archetypal combination of The World (#21 in the Tarot) and The Empress (#3 in the Tarot). As such, you represent a dynamic quality-set and a duality that emerges from its coupling and its energetic feedback loop. This emergent archetype and energy signature is one that represents your life story and your specific path to navigate. As with all encodings, inherent with World-Empress lies an undeniable soul-growth journey. In addition to the data below, please absorb the imagery on each card – the similarities and the differences – as the symbols provide infinite information about your encodings. -

Egypt Was the Image of Heaven on Earth and Temple of the Whole World
Egypt was the image of heaven on earth and temple of the whole world Egypt was the image of heaven on earth and temple of the whole world v. 16.13, www.philaletheians.co.uk, 13 March 2019 Page 1 of 77 EGYPT WAS THE IMAGE OF HEAVEN ON EARTH ABSTRACT AND TRAIN OF THOUGHTS Abstract and train of thoughts 1 Ancient India and Egypt were the oldest group of nations Egypt sent no agents throughout the world to learn what others knew; but to her the wise men of neighbouring nations resorted for knowledge. 6 The Egyptian Pyramids antedate the upheaval of the Sahara and other deserts. 10 Ancient Greece owes everything to Egypt There is no comparison between the Egypt of old, with its perfection of art, science, and religion, its glorious cities and monuments, its swarming population, and the Egypt of today — peopled with strangers. 13 History got its first glimpse of the ancients when the arts were already fast degenerating among them. 16 The further back we go in history, the better and finer become these arts. 16 Ancient knowledge of thunder, lightning, and electricity antedates modern “discoveries.” 18 The Egyptian art of writing was perfect and complete from the very first. It was used as early as the days of Menes, the protomonarch. 21 Before Greece came into existence, the arts, with the Egyptians, were already ripe and old. 23 The Greeks learned all they knew, including the sacred services of the temple, from the Egyptians and, because of that, their principal temples were consecrated to Egyptian divinities. -

Major Arcana the Following Is the Journey of the Major Arcana
The Major Arcana The following is the journey of the Major Arcana. We are going to go through them briefly together, but it is also super essential you spend time with this journey over the next week! This course is taught from the Angel Tarot, and you can use the Angel Tarot, or the Archangel Power Tarot, both by Doreen Virtue & Radleigh Valentine. Of course this information can be applied to any card deck! The Major Arcana in general are some very powerful cards! In general they hold greater weight and meaning than the “minor arcana” (which are the other suites that will be discussed). They are also referred to as the trump cards and are the foundational piece of the Tarot deck. They make up the first 21 cards in the deck, and tell a really beautiful story. They are representative of a path to spiritual self awareness and unveil the different stages of life as we move thorough our path. They all hold very deep meaningful lessons. The recording in this week goes through those, and it is also important you listen to your own heart in what they mean to you. If a lot of Major Arcana appear, pay attention to two main points: 1. The person you are reading for may be going through some big life changes. 2. The more that appear the less free will and choice that person may have (but of course there is ALWAYS free will and choice). The Major Arcana cards are all numbered, and in the Angel Tarot are associated with an Angel. -
Supplemental Sheets ELEMENTAL DIGNITIES in TAROT Applying
Supplemental Sheets ELEMENTAL DIGNITIES IN TAROT Applying elemental dignities analysis to a tarot reading helps identify the precise points of imbalances in a Seeker’s life or situation. The various energies and traits of a person (or even a situation) per Western theosophy can be categorized as Fire, Water, Air, or Earth in essence. For harmony in one’s life, there should be a balance of the four elements within. When two elements seem to vie for dominance and those elements are also in opposition, there will be flux, uncertainties, a sense of instability and insecurity. When active elements dominate, there may be a lack of peace, and instead, too much competition, battling, conflict, and strife. When passive elements dominate, there may be little progress, feeling overwhelmed, and controlled rather than in control. Interpreting a tarot reading by the card meanings help the Seeker understand what is going on; interpreting elemental dignities enhances that understanding by explaining why. Dignity as used in this context is defined as external manifestation of the card’s innate properties. It is the state of being activated with the full potential of its essence. An Elemental Dignity describes that state with more specificity—it is the external manifestation of a tarot card’s innate elemental essence, given that each card is governed innately by one of the four elements, Fire, Water, Air, or Earth, and thus has the potential of fully embodying the traits associated with that element. (Note however that the card’s energies would further be modified by the numerological correspondence and other factors.) Benebell Wen, www.benebellwen.com Holistic Tarot (North Atlantic Books, forthcoming 2014) Supplemental Sheets When a card from the suit of Wands is said to be dignified, it means it is fully charged and activated with the energies of its corresponding element.
