Major Arcana the Following Is the Journey of the Major Arcana The Major Arcana The following is the journey of the Major Arcana. We are going to go through them briefly together, but it is also super essential you spend time with this journey over the next week! This course is taught from the Angel Tarot, and you can use the Angel Tarot, or the Archangel Power Tarot, both by Doreen Virtue & Radleigh Valentine. Of course this information can be applied to any card deck! The Major Arcana in general are some very powerful cards! In general they hold greater weight and meaning than the “minor arcana” (which are the other suites that will be discussed). They are also referred to as the trump cards and are the foundational piece of the Tarot deck. They make up the first 21 cards in the deck, and tell a really beautiful story. They are representative of a path to spiritual self awareness and unveil the different stages of life as we move thorough our path. They all hold very deep meaningful lessons. The recording in this week goes through those, and it is also important you listen to your own heart in what they mean to you. If a lot of Major Arcana appear, pay attention to two main points: 1. The person you are reading for may be going through some big life changes. 2. The more that appear the less free will and choice that person may have (but of course there is ALWAYS free will and choice). The Major Arcana cards are all numbered, and in the Angel Tarot are associated with an Angel. Each of the 21 cards depict universal characters and situations, and they can take on various meanings depending on the intention of the person you are reading for, and even what is going on for you. (SIDE NOTE: I always find that a message for MYSELF in all of the connections I do). In general, when one of these cards appears, you know the core issues are big. They represent your basic concerns, life events, big feelings, and motivations. I am often asked, “If they turn upside down is there a significant meaning?” BACK TO THE GOLDEN RULE!! If you think or feel there needs to be, then yes. You get to decided. For me personally, I know to pay attention to upside down cards in my connections. Optimism, realization, dream. Receiving clarity is fit. There is independence that speaks to this energy. Moving away from things that are not enjoyable. 1 ANGEL TAROT: THE MAGICIAN ARCHANGEL POWER TAROT: THE MAGICIAN ARCHANGEL: RAZIEL There is the ability to have what you want to have. Use the elements of the world to create the life you choose. There are no needs for planning, and the suggestion is to simply allow manifestation to happen. 2 ANGEL TAROT: THE HIGH PRIESTESS ARCHANGEL POWER TAROT: THE HIGH PRIESTESS ARCHANGEL: HANIEL The leap of faith has been taken and now you know the power that lies within. Someone who is in touch with their intuition, the answers that lie here. Meditation and dream work are important here. Discovering WHO you are. This is quiet time. Get clear. 3 ANGEL TAROT: THE EMPRESS ARCHANGEL POWER TAROT: THE EMPRESS ARCHANGEL: GABRIEL Take action! Use self confidence and esteem in order to create. You are able to do what you are committed to do, and clear about doing. OPTIMISM. There is no holding back here. This is a luxurious card, ensuring the rewards are to come. Delighted to make a difference. 4 ANGEL TAROT: THE EMPEROR ARCHANGEL: MICHAEL ARCHANGEL POWER TAROT: THE EMPEROR ARCHANGEL: URIEL The masculine energy of the empress steps in with organization and logic. There needs to be a plan of action. Discipline, logic, structure. 5 ANGEL TAROT: UNITY ARCHANGEL POWER TAROT: DIVINE GUIDANCE ARCHANGEL: SANDALPHON Gina Nicole © www.ginanicole.net This is the energy of a teacher being there to assist with the plan. Guidance is here. This is mentor energy, and the energy of those who support. This is the why behind what it is you want. This is not a place of judgement, but further understanding the drive. There is an emphasis on the enrichment of your soul. 6 ANGEL TAROT: THE LOVERS ARCHANGEL POWER TAROT: THE LOVERS ARCHANGEL: RAPHAEL Good health and love! This is the power of emotion and heart to heart connection. This can be a relationship that is very romantic or platonic, but either way one that is lasting. This is the energy of the heart. This can also speak to good health. 7 ANGEL TAROT: THE CHARIOT ARCHANGEL POWER TAROT: THE CHARIOT ARCHANGEL: METATRON Putting the work to the test. This can bring challenges with people to please and many components to the puzzle. Continue to act and move, as there is power in that actionable intention. This is victorious energy. Have pride, and allow others to express their applause and appreciation, even in a public way. WIllpower. 8 ANGEL TAROT: JUSTICE ARCHANGEL POWER TAROT: JUSTICE ARCHANGEL: RAGUEL The choices put into action will be reviewed by others. How have you move and treat others will show up here. If you are kind and fair, and act from integrity, the results will be high vibrating like the intention. Stand up for the work and situation. Be an activist in some way. If you notice unjust motions, call it out. Don’t try to change it, just bring awareness and stand up for the truth. 9 ANGEL TAROT: THE HERMIT ARCHANGEL POWER TAROT: EPIPHANY ARCHANGEL: RAZIEL This is reflection and self discovery but it is also leading the way with the light that is before us. Shine the light so the seekers can find the way. Come from within and be guided to your own conclusions with consciousness. New sense, balance, answers, kindness, and compassion. Go inward and see the teacher within you. 10 ANGEL TAROT: THE WHEEL ARCHANGEL: MICHAEL ARCHANGEL POWER TAROT: THE WHEEL ARCHANGEL: JEREMIEL This is good luck, the reward that is coming from the work that has been done. Happy accidents and things working out. The forward motion of this energy will set us in the right direction. Work with nature and go with the flow. Use patience, understanding that the journey is only 1/2 way complete when this appears. This is the strength that comes truly from peace, love, and compassion. 12 ANGEL TAROT: AWAKENING ARCHANGEL: GABRIEL ARCHANGEL POWER TAROT: PERSPECTIVE ARCHANGEL: CHAMUEL See the world differently. If you don’t like the way things are, change them. There has been movement up to this point, that can help unveil those things. Honor the truth of the heart. Be unique and awakened. What your heart calls, do. It may be patience or action. Become aware of the changes that are needed. 13 ANGEL TAROT: RELEASE ARCHANGEL POWER TAROT: PEACE ARCHANGEL: AZRAEL You have noticed what changes need to be made, and now the release happens as they are made. This can bring happiness, ease, or sometimes sadness. Welcome the transitions. Stand in the moment, embrace any endings. Don’t rush, grow and embrace the change. 14 ANGEL TAROT: BALANCE ARCHANGEL POWER TAROT: SOLUTIONS ARCHANGEL: ZADKIEL Integrate what has come. Rise to a higher consciousness. Be patient, use ease, and be in balance. Continue to learn. If you don’t learn, repeat, and be okay with it. Find the balance in the shadow and the light. 15 ANGEL TAROT: EGO ARCHANGEL POWER TAROT: DECISION ARCHANGEL: JOPHIEL Be certain you have a clear view of self and values. Notice where you create your own confinement, and how your fears are creating your reality. Entrapments are self made, realize that. Review your priorities. 16 ANGEL TAROT: LIFE EXPERIENCE ARCHANGEL POWER TAROT: CHANGE YOUR LIFE ARCHANGEL: CHAMUEL Notice where you are being resistant to change. There is a bit of a push being given here. It is all for the better good, enlightenment, and joy. Embrace the change, as it is for the better. Also know that when things happen that seem to have a shadow, trust it is all for the greater good. Freedom to set to new heights of prosperity and freedom. This is a long term planning place. Know you are on the right journey. 18 ANGEL TAROT: THE MOON ARCHANGEL POWER TAROT: THE MOON ARCHANGEL: HANIEL Things that once didn’t seem possible, are. Fears that once held the situation, can be released fully. Affirmation that the worries and fears that once were there, aren’t valid. This brings keen insight. This is also a message to pay attention to your dreams. 19 ANGEL TAROT: THE SUN ARCHANGEL POWER TAROT: THE SUN ARCHANGEL: URIEL Great joy and success. Evolution! There has been growth and insight and creation of deep desires. Public recognition is possible here, true enlightenment. 20 ANGEL TAROT: RENEWAL ARCHANGEL POWER TAROT: NEW BEGINNINGS ARCHANGEL: JEREMIEL The journey has been long, and the end is near. Pause and review so that there can be an understanding of where you want to be.

Behind our small home was a dirt alley which led nine blocks to downtown Wichita, Kansas. I can remember when I was a boy the hungry, destitute men who came to the back door begging for food. My mother never turned them down. She shared what little we had, even if only a couple of pieces of bread and a glass of milk. My mother didn’t just say, “Depart in peace! I’ll pray for you! Keep warm and well fed!” (See James 2:16.) No. She acted. She gave. Often I was curious about these mysterious and somewhat scary men. I had a sense that they were “different” than I was, not worse, not better, just different. I always watched these strangers heading back up the alley toward downtown, and sometimes, in a cops-and-robbers fashion, I secretly followed them, jumping behind bushes so I wouldn’t be seen. I think I half expected them to suddenly disappear. After all, my Sunday school teacher, encouraging us to be kind and care for strangers, told us the Bible says that, by doing so, many people have entertained angels without knowing it (see Hebrews 13:2). I never saw any of the men disappear. They were ordinary, hungry human beings. But my Sunday school teacher was right. God does send His angels to us, and they do interact with us—not just to test us and see if we are kind, but to protect us and guide us.

The Major Arcana contains Card 0, The Fool, who represents each one of us on our journey through life. The Major Arcana cards 1-21, and the four suits of the Minor Arcana, symbolize the events, lessons and characters we meet upon that journey. The Major Arcana is often called “The Fool’s Journey,” as each card marks an important milestone on the Fool’s path to spiritual enlightenment.

We can pray a special, very powerful prayer to St. Michael to help us combat these evil spirits. St. Michael is not a saint, but an archangel. The archangels are leaders of the other angels. According to both Scripture and Catholic Tradition, St. Michael is the leader of the army of God. He is often shown in paintings and iconography in a scene from the book of Revelation, where he and his angels battle the dragon. He is the patron of soldiers, policemen, and doctors. B.
