Access will be permitted only to accredited participants and those working with the Organisers. All participants are required to present a negative Covid-19 PCR Molecular PCR Test or an accredited Fluorescent rapid antigen Test result taken within 48hrs before access to the Regatta Venue. Any person showing a temperature of 37.5°C or higher or any suspected symptoms or concerns within their teams must immediately avoid any close contact with others and report the situation by WhatsApp message to the OC Covid Officer. Medical staff present at the Venue will deal with any positive or suspected positive cases and adopt the emergency protocols. The OC will organise frequent sanitisation of the spaces used. Toilets will be available throughout the area and will be disinfected frequently during the day. COVID-19 PARTICIPANTS’ GUIDE 10 TEAM MANAGERS MANUAL 2021 World Rowing Cup III Sabaudia, Italy The main actions that must be taken to ensure that sports events are carried out safely in accordance with the Italian Governmental, World Rowing and the Organising Committee guidelines, are the following: a) Always wear a mask (the use of surgical and FFP2/N95 masks is recommended - masks with valve/ filter are not permitted) during the entire time spent in the event area and use protective gloves where necessary. b) Wash hands with soap and water for at least 30 seconds or, if not possible use hand sanitiser gel or disinfectant. c) Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth. d) Using correct hygiene for coughs and sneezing (use of disposable tissues). e) Keep a safe distance (not less than 1.5m) and avoid hugs and handshakes. f) Avoid gatherings as much as possible to prevent potential risk situations. g) In the event of a body temperature of 37,5°C or above, or flu symptoms that could be related to Covid-19 infection, stay home, and promptly notify the Organising Committee for the necessary COVID-19 PARTICIPANTS’ GUIDE 11 TEAM MANAGERS MANUAL 2021 World Rowing Cup III Sabaudia, Italy containment measure to be taken. h) If symptoms appear after entry to the event area, notify the Team Doctor immediately to assess isolation and activation of the necessary measures. i) Disinfect all personal sports equipment frequently. j) Disinfect, before and after use, sports equipment made available to all Athletes by the Organising Committee k) Do not swap personal effects or items. Repeated failure to comply with the above rules may lead to the removal of the person in question from the event area. Teams are reminded that the Sabaudia OC COVID-19 Response Plan is available on the event website www.sabaudiarowing.com The PRE-EVENT HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE must be submitted (one for every participant) to [email protected] by 31 May 2021. COVID-19 PARTICIPANTS’ GUIDE 12 TEAM MANAGERS MANUAL 2021 World Rowing Cup III Sabaudia, Italy The Member Federation CONSENT FORM must be submitted on arrival at the accreditation centre before entering Venue. “Return to Home” COVID tests will be available at the Venue. Tests must be booked in advance using the “Return to Home” test request form available on https://www.sabaudiarowing.com/. The completed booking form must be sent to [email protected] no later than 21 May 2021. The cost of the test is EUR 55.00 per test. Payment may be made in advance by bank transfer or by credit card at the testing site at the Venue. For specific guidance on any travel restrictions or visa issues for travel from certain countries, Teams are advised to contact Ambra Di Miceli at the Italian Rowing Federation (ambra.dimiceli@ canottaggio.org). Only one person, delegated by the team, can enter the Info Centre at one time. GENERAL INFORMATION 15 TEAM MANAGERS MANUAL 2021 World Rowing Cup III Sabaudia, Italy General Programme The Regatta Venue will be officially open from Wednesday, 2 June 2021 from 07:00hrs to 19:30hrs. Training time table before the first racing day: • Wednesday: Training from 08:00 hrs – 19:00 hrs • Thursday: Training from 08:00 hrs – 19:00 hrs Training time table during racing days: • Training before racing: beginning 07:00 hrs, crews must have crossed the finish line 15 minutes before the start of the first race. • Training after racing: crews can go out on the water for training 15 minutes after the last race has started until 19:00hrs. Team Managers must confirm their crews by 12:00hrs on 03 June 2021 (3hrs before the draw). Crew changes Crew Change Forms can be submitted electronically via [email protected]. For medical substitutions and withdrawals – please call the World Rowing Doctor first, informing them of your intention.
