Situation and Description The land is situated within the area of close to the village of Slapton and within an area of outstanding natural beauty. The land is within easy reach of the of Dartmouth and Kingsbridge.

The Land Buckland Wood extends in total to 9.91 acres (4.01 hectares) of natural regeneration broadleaf woodland with predominately mature and semi- mature tree growth with numerous species including beech, birch and some holly.

The land benefits from access via a 10’0 (3.05m) wooden gate to the north-west corner of the land, which provides access via an internal track which runs down across the wood eastwards past the buildings and structures which are situated to the southern side of this north-western section of the woodland. The track continues through the heart of the woodland down across the mid and south-eastern section where the track splits into two to provide access to the lower reaches of the woodland and the River Gara that borders the eastern boundary of the wood.

The woodland is both north and east facing, although there is a small section to the north-east of the wood adjoining the Buckland to Burlestone road opposite Gara Mill Bridge, which is more level in nature.

Buildings at Buckland Woodland Situated to the southern side of the internal track to the north-east of the land are a range of buildings comprising.
