The Department presented Cash Awards of a total of Rs. 90 lakhs to the Rio Paralympic medallists and Rs. 28.5 lakh to 19 members of the Indian Blind Cricket team under Awareness Generation and Publicity (AGP) scheme. The felicitation programme was held in the august presence of the Union Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment Mr. Thaawarchand Gehlot who was also the Chief Guest of the programme.     July 27, 2021 – Tuesday Key Developments Govt prepares portal to speed up Rs 2.5 trn-plus asset monetisation drive The government has developed an asset monetisation dashboard for monitoring real-time progress of its ambitious Rs 2.5 trillion-plus pipeline, and providing visibility to investors.The portal has been prepared as the government tries to provide a one-stop shop to investors keen on taking over assets of government departments and ministries. The exercise is similar to the National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP) which seeks to invite private sector participation in the infrastructure sector. Policy think tank NITI Aayog has finalised the National Monetisation Pipeline (NMP) of potential brownfield infrastructure assets.
