Ryan LaMarre promptly greeted him with an RBI single, then a walk to Socrates Brito brought in another run. Another bases-loaded walk to Rob Brantly gave SWB extra tally to cut the deficit to 5-4. However, Ort struck out the next two batters to end the game. The current stretch has lowered SWB’s bullpen ERA to 2.89 on the season, the third-best in MiLB (1st, Harrisburg, 2021 regular season: 34-16 2.36). The bullpen’s 29 wins are tied for second in the minors behind only Tampa’s 35.
