2020 Annual Review DOG OWNERSHIP MANAGEMENT:

Guangxi Dog Breeding Farms Visits:

Visited meat dog farms in Lingshan County of and Binyang County of .

*Both are small in scale, one is not even a “meat dog farm”. The so-called legal supply of breeding dogs is of such a small amount that it is not possible to meet the need of the market. EMERGENCY RESCUE:

Donation to Wuhan : ⚫ 10 tons dog food 3.07 tons cat food to 7,974 animals of 42 local groups. ⚫ Neutered 77 dogs and cats., 393 dogs and cats vaccinated. ⚫ 10 shelters: 40 fans, 50 hair shavers, benefiting 2,323 animals.

Supported 2 flooded shelters in : ⚫ Funded food, medicine, enrichment, accommodation for cats. ⚫ Shelter environment refurbishment.

Other: ⚫ Sponsored the vaccination, de-worming and de-sexing of 16 cats rescued from a bankrupt cattery, and also supported their adoption activities. ⚫ Sponsored 300kg dog food and vaccines for 31 dogs rescued from the black chain. ⚫ Donated 550 kg of dog food to 2 shelters in Jiangxi province benefitted 369 dogs. SHELTER IMPROVEMENT:

⚫ Visit 13 animal rescue shelters and 1 volunteer team for making funding plan.

⚫ Provided funds for a group in Nantong, Jiangsu to rebuild their cat shelter, benefits 105 cats.

⚫ Funded a new adoption center at Xi'an Red Pomegranate Stray Animal Rescue Centre, benefits 600 animals.

⚫ Supported a shelter in , Guangxi for improving the environment. STRAY CATS TNR:

TNR in-depth training: Online training for 70 volunteers from 21 organizations.

TNR project: • Supported 15 NGOs in 8 cities to carry out stray cats TNR project • 205 cats been neutered, vaccinated, and de-wormed TRAININGS FOR NGO:

• 5 online trainings to 1279 strong audience.

• 3 public lectures to 180 strong audience in Nanning and . PUBLIC AWARENESS EDUCATION:

Dr Dogs and Professor Paws in Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanning:

• 3 Dr Dog exams, 49 new Dr Dogs for the year • 32 visits carried out by Dr Dogs to over 1,000 people in need. • 26 Professor Paws activities, educating nearly 1,600 people. • 22 public campaigns covering about 1,700 people. • Nearly 3,000 people educated by our film “Cat and Dog Welfare around Us”. PUBLIC AWARENESS EDUCATION:

Paint for Love, Hope for Paw Friends- 2020 Animals Asia Children’s Painting Competition • 417 participants aged between 4-12, and special needs children (teenagers) under 18 years old. • Received over 450 contributions.

Awarded Works Exhibition Tour • 40 final awarded works + 10 selected art pieces from autism artist Ni Zhuojun • Cities so far: Hangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai • Advertising in Chengdu underground: line7/10, 35 LED screens • Total people covered so far: 260,000 PUBLIC AWARENESS EDUCATION:

Cooperation with JingDong Logistics-Home for Hope • Donated boxes to 2 shelters in Jiangsu and Guangxi. • Donated dog food, feeding 400 dogs in a shelter of Chengdu. • Curated a 2-day art exhibition of the awarded works of our children’s painting competition, involving approximately 50,000 people. • Social media publicity covered 30,000 people. PUBLIC AWARENESS EDUCATION:

National Leaflet and Posters Distribution：

• More than 5,600 leaflets/posters handed out to over 16,000 people who are interested in cat and dog welfare.

• 4 NGOs ， 8 vet clinics and pet merchandise shops received our publicity materials, 18 public activities supported by these education tools . PUBLIC AWARENESS EDUCATION:
