This Annual Progress Report is a requirement of the Seventh Round of Review and Assessment and is a requirement for all local authorities. This Progress Report has been undertaken in accordance with the Technical Guidance LAQM.TG (16) and associated tools. It covers the six local authorities which encompass the North Wales region (The North Wales Authorities). The local authorities are as follows: • Isle of Anglesey County Council (IACC); • Conwy County Borough Council (CCBC); • Denbighshire County Council (DCC); • Flintshire County Council (FCC); • Gwynedd Council (GC); and • Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC). -

NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO DISPOSE OF THE LLANGEFNI GOLF COURSE The Playing Fields (Community Involvement in Disposal Decisions) (Wales) Regulations 2015 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Isle of Anglesey County Council is proposing to dispose of the land associated with the Llangefni golf course. The driving range, practice area and shop will remain open to the public. Details of the proposed disposal is available for inspection for the period of seven weeks from the date of this notice during normal office hours (9am – 5pm) by prior appointment at: Anglesey Business Centre, Llangefni, LL77 7XA (The main Council offices are not open as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic) The public has a right to make representations to the Council. The JLDP will set out the strategy for development and land use in Anglesey and Gwynedd for the 15 year period 2011- 2026. It will set out policies to implement the strategy and provide guidance on the location of new houses, employment opportunities and leisure and community facilities. 1.2 The Councils have been undertaking Sustainability Appraisal (SA) incorporating Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) since 2011 to inform the preparation of the JLDP. The SA process for the JLDP has produced the following reports to date: . Scoping Report July 2011 - which should be used for consultation on the scope of the SA/SEA - placed on public consultation on 21/07/2011 for a period of 7 weeks. A notice was placed in local newspapers presenting information regarding the consultation period and invited interested parties to submit written comments about the Report. -

BACKGROUND Wales Enterprise Zones In 2012, the Welsh Government launched seven Enterprise Zones across Wales. The Enterprise Zones are designated geographical areas that support new and expanding businesses by providing a first class business infrastructure and support. Each of the Enterprise Zones has a focus on one or more key business sectors. They are: Anglesey Enterprise Zone (2) – focusing on the energy and environment sector; Central Cardiff Enterprise Zone (1) – focusing on the financial & professional services sector; Deeside Enterprise Zone (3) – focusing on the advanced materials and manufacturing sector; Ebbw Vale Enterprise Zone (5) – focusing on the advanced materials and manufacturing sector; 3 Haven Waterway Enterprise Zone (7) – focusing on the energy & environment sector; Snowdonia Enterprise Zone (6) – focusing on the energy & environment, aerospace, and ICT sectors. St Athan – Cardiff Airport Enterprise Zone (4) – focusing on the advanced materials and manufacturing sector and in particular its aerospace sub-sector. Enterprise Zone Boards Each Enterprise Zone has an independent private-sector led advisory Board. The role of the Enterprise Zone Boards is to advise the Welsh Government on the implementation and delivery of action plans and priorities for the Zones, including: Strategic advice towards investment opportunities Encouraging supply chain development Identifying property and infrastructure needs Marketing and promotion of Enterprise Boards. -
