Organizing Authority: Charlotte Harbor Regatta, Inc. 1. Rules: 1.1. Regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of 2009-2012 (RRS). 1.2. Each competitor shall sail in accordance with class rules and format.

2. Eligibility and entry: 2.1. This regatta is for one-design classes including the , , F 18, F 16, , , Weta, Waverider 16, , S2 7.9 and Precision 15 at this time. Other classes will be considered on a case by case request. 2.2. Registration fee for each fleet will be as follows: $125 for boats 20 feet and up. Early registration discount $15. Late fee $15. $75 for boats under 20 feet. Early registration discount $10. Late fee $10. Early discount if registration postmarked before Dec. 3, 2011. Late fee for registration on day of regatta. $40 for each crew member/social ticket. Skipper receives social ticket with registration $15 daily social ticket for participants 11 years of age and older. $7.50 daily social ticket for participants 10 years of age and under.

3. Registration 3.1. Two official regatta desks are available. One located at the Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club and the second located at the Charlotte Harbor Community Sailing Center 3.2. Competitors may register and pay in advance online at: www.charlotteharborregatta.com or by filling out registration form and mailing form and check to: Charlotte Harbor Regatta 23170 Harborview Road Charlotte Harbor, Florida 33980 (Each competitor is encouraged to register in advance. Click the On-line Registration tab on the left of the main webpage for online registration or click the Mail-in Registration tab on the left of the main webpage to obtain a printable form). 3.3. On-site registration and check-in for S2 7.9, Hobie 16, Hobie Wave, F 18, F 16, Waverider 16 and Weta competitors will be on Feb. 2, 2012 at Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club official registration desk located at, 4400 Lister St., Port Charlotte, FL., 33952. Time: 1200-1700. 3.4. On-site registration and check-in for Sunfish, Laser and Precision 15 will be on Feb. 4, 2011 at Charlotte Harbor Community Sailing Center official registration desk located at, 750 Retta Esplanade, Punta Gorda, 33950, Time: 0700-0930. 3.5. On-site registration and check-in for Flying Scot will be on Feb. 4, 2010 at Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club, 4400 Lister Street, Port Charlotte, Florida, 33952. Time: 0700-0900. (Lift service also will be available for Flying Scot skippers Friday night.) 3.6. Each registration shall have a crew list and waivers of liability submitted before being considered registered. 4. Schedule (Note: Sunfish, Precision 15, Lasers and Flying Scots will race Saturday and Sunday).

5. For classes using this regatta in their points competition, certificates and measuring required by class rules shall be the responsibility of each class and its competitors.

6. Sailing instruction will be available during registration, at the official regatta desk(s). Sailing instructions will also be posted at the official notice boards adjacent to the Regatta Desk(s).

7. Race courses: There will be four circles that will be used for a combination of fleets. 7.1. Circle 1: Inner Harbor (location will be approximate) Fleets: Flying Scot, Sunfish, Precision 15, Laser 7.2. Circle 2: Middle Harbor (location will be approximate) Fleets: Weta, Waverider 16, Hobie Wave 7.3. Circle 3: Outer Harbor (location will be approximate) Fleets: F 18, F 16 and Hobie 16 7.4. Circle 4: Outer South (location will be approximate) Fleet: S2 7.9 8. Launching Locations: 8.1. Flying Scot - Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club – (Hoist) 8.2. Sunfish, Laser - Charlotte Harbor Community Sailing Center (Hand dolly ramp) 8.3. Precision 15 Isles Yacht Club 8.4. Weta, Hobie 16, Hobie, Waverider 16, F 18, F 16 - Port, Charlotte Beach Complex (Beach Launch) 8.5. S2 7.9 - Laishley Park Marina or Port Charlotte Beach (Ramps)

9. Haul-out restriction shall be for all boats not launched from a beach and dollies. 9.1. Boats shall remain in the water except for repairs requiring haul-out. Rigging repairs except for Standing Rig replacement shall be done on the water.

11. Rights to use name and likeness. By participating in this event, a competitor grants to the Organizing Authority and the sponsors of the event from time to time and at their discretion the right to use any motion pictures and live, taped or filmed television and other reproductions taken of him/her during the periods of the competition without compensation.

12. The Organizing Authority reserves the right to amend this NOR up to Dec. 31, 2011 without posting notice of change on the official board; thereafter, changes must be posted on the official board at the time of opening registration.
