The opinion set forth in clause (a) above is subject to the condition that the Issuer comply with all requirements of the Internal unlawful prior to registration or or to registration prior unlawful Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, that must be satisfied subsequent to the issuance of the Bonds in order that interest thereon be (or continue to be) excluded from gross income for federal income tax purposes. Failure to comply with certain of such requirements could cause the interest on the bonds to be so included in gross income retroactive to the date of issuance of the Bonds. Key Activities o Hire a full time Family Advocate to work directly with children and families to navigate community resources o Ensure a consistent, comprehensive, and effective network of support is provided for victims. o Implement Handle With Care in all 16 school districts (partnership between school, first responders, and behavioral health providers) o Identify training needs to increase capacity of service providers/community partners o Facilitate opportunities for shared learning and problem solving among community partners o Develop and disseminate awareness materials about services available o Use a data driven approach to continually assess the needs of children and youth and determine whether the community response is meeting identified needs. o As needed, identify, vet and integrate additional resources and services into the community’s response Update – June 2020 o Family Advocate has been hired! Melanie Avila will join us as the Joining Forces for Children Family Advocate on June 15th! Data were collected through questionnaires mailed to all graduates from the years 1982, 1985, and 1988 and from high s- lol transcripts. The study involved a total population of 15,24E 'rom which 32 percent responded. Some of the results of the survey were as follows: (1) more than 85 percent of the respondents are either working full time or are enrolled in postsecondary education; (2) academic and vocational graduates who are employed receive a weekly salary $20 greater than general curriculum graduates; and (3) most respondents who had attended vocational programs were satisfied with them, although some wanted to see improvements in curriculum.
