REGIONAL DIRECTOR’S CORNER June 2020
On June 3, 2020, Dir. III Adrian G Alvarino, Regional Director RO-NCR together with PDEA Director General Wilkins M Villanueva in coordination with AFP, PNP-RID/RDEU, PNP-RO4A and Binan City Police implemented a Search Warrant in Bel-Air Subdivision, Binan City, Laguna which resulted to the arrest of Samson Tan y Lim and his cohorts.
Said operation yielded more or less 600 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of Php4,080,000.00 Also recovered from the suspects were various drug paraphernalia, assorted chemicals and financial documents.
On June 17, 2020, Dir. III Adrian G Alvarino, Regional Director RO-NCR together with IA V Mary Lyd Arguelles, District Officer of Eastern District Office (EDO) and IA V Beltran T Lacap, Jr. Chief, Plans & Operations Division (POD) paid a courtesy visit to Mandaluyong City Mayor Carmelita Abalos at the office of City Mayor, Mandaluyong City Hall Complex, Maysilo, Boni Avenue, Mandaluyong City.
On June 21, 2020, Dir. III Adrian G Alvarino, Regional Director of PDEA RO-NCR together with PDEA Director General Wilkins M Villanueva in an anti-drug operation led by PDEA RO-NCR Eastern District Office in coordination with NCRPO, QCPD Novaliches Police Station 4, QCPD-EOD, PDEG SOU4 and AFP at Rockville Subdivision, San Bartolome, Novaliches, Quezon City that resulted in the arrest of the alleged supplier of the arrested drug pushers in Mindanao Avenue.
The apprehended suspects were identified as Kenneth Pareja Maclan, Dennis Santos Roque, Harold Villasana and Carlito Salazar Biglang-awa.
Confiscated and seized in their possession were several knot-tied transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to shabu, weighing more or less 1.3 kilograms, and has a standard drug price of Php 8,840,000.00; assorted drug paraphernalia and various firearms and explosive device and it's ingredients which resulted in the dismantling of their explosives making facility.
On June 23, 2020, Dir. III Adrian G Alvarino, Regional Director RO-NCR together with IA V Irvin John Coderis, Acting Assistant Regional Director and IA III Sharon I Ominga, District Officer of Manila District Office (MDO) paid a courtesy visit to Manila City Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna at the office of City Vice Mayor, Manila City Hall, City of Manila.
On June 25, 2020, Dir. III Adrian G Alvarino, Regional Director RO-NCR together with IA V Irvin John Coderis, Acting Assistant Regional Director, IA V Mary Lyd Arguelles, District Officer of Eastern District Office (EDO) and IA V Beltran T Lacap, Jr. Chief, Plans & Operations Division (POD) paid a courtesy visit to Pasig City Mayor Victor Ma Regis Sotto at the office of City Mayor, Pasig City Hall, Caruncho Complex, Pasig City.
On June 29, 2020, Dir. III Adrian G Alvarino, Regional Director RO-NCR together with IA V Irvin John Coderis, Acting Assistant Regional Director and IA III Cham Sulit, District Officer of Quezon City District Office (QCDO) paid a courtesy visit to Quezon City Mayor Hon Josefina “Joy” Belmonte at the office of City Mayor, QC City Hall, Diliman, Quezon City.
