Despite securing the biggest Abingdon United 1-2 Chalfont St Peter win in the 2nd Round; with a 4-1 win over AFC Didcot Town 3-2 Wantage Town Wallingford, Thatcham made their exit in the Flackwell Heath 1-2 Aylesbury Vale Quarter Final after a goalless draw at Aylesbury Hungerford Town 1-2 Holmer Green Vale going out 5-3 in a penalty shoot-out. Milton United 1-0 Buckingham Town They were unable to retain the Trophy they won Reading Town 0-2 Newport Pagnell Town on their own turf a year earlier in a convincing 5-1 Shrivenham 1-2 Sandhurst Town win over Abingdon Town. Thatcham Town 4-1 AFC Wallingford Thatcham made up for this disappointment by Quarter Finals claiming runners up spot in our top division, and Aylesbury Vale 0-0 Thatcham Town securing a place in the Southern League, amassing Chalfont St Peter 0-3 Didcot Town 94 points from their 42 games in the process. th Holmer Green 1-0 Newport Pagnell Town At the opposite end, despite a 19 place finish, AFC Milton United 0-1 Sandhurst Town Newbury found themselves relegated and never Semi-Finals really recovered, losing their Wessex place in the Holmer Green 0-5 Didcot Town next season with their record being expunged. Sandhurst Town 3-1 Aylesbury Vale Final Didcot Town 4-2 Sandhurst Town I have little information on this competition at the northern fringe of our area, it would seem that just two of our member clubs would qualify for this competition namely AFC Newbury from 1992/93 to 2005/06 and Thatcham Town from 1992/93 to 2005/06.
