[email protected] Tel: 01726 74911 NOVEMBER - Prayer for the faithful departed There is usually someone in the parish office to receive calls on weekday mornings. In November the Church traditionally remembers to pray for those ‘gone before us marked with the sign of faith’ and we are invited to pray especially for our family and friends. During November we will particularly pray for the deceased THIRTY-FIRST WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME (Yr B) and offer mass for them on ‘All Soul’s Day’, 2nd November, and throughout Sunday 1st November 2015 the month. If you would like to record the names of members of your family and friends to be incorporated in that prayer, please place them in one of the ALL SAINTS brown envelopes available from the Welcomers or in the Narthex and Porch, TIMES OF MASSES & SERVICES and return them when convenient. The envelopes will be brought up at Sunday Saturday 31st Oct. 6.00 p.m. (Vadne Gallacher RIP) Masses and placed before the altar as a sign of our ongoing prayer for the Sunday 1st Nov. 8.30 a.m. (Mani John) faithful departed. At this No Mass Thursday 5th Nov. meeting the Group will be discussing Holocaust Memorial Day in January Friday 6th Nov. 10.30 a.m. (The Faithful Departed) which, as well as the Nazi Holocaust, now includes memorial to more recent Saturday 7th Nov. 6.00 p.m. (Anne Nigel) genocide in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Dafur. Anyone with interest or Sunday 8th Nov. 8.30 a.m. (The Parish) knowledge of genocide would be especially welcome at this meeting. 10.30 a.m. (All Victims of War) ANNUAL CLERGY REQUIEM The annual Requiem Mass for deceased bishops, priests and deacons of the Plymouth Diocese will be celebrated at Plymouth Cathedral this Thursday 5th SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION November at 12 noon. All are welcome to join Bishop Mark and the priests Saturday 5.15 p.m. - 5.45 p.m. from around the diocese in their prayers for the deceased clergy who ministered EXPOSTION in our diocese for many years.
