There is plenty of free parking in the rear. From the North: • Take I-95 South to I-295 (to Norfolk). • Take the Tappahannock exit (Route 360 East). • Merge into the left lane and continue on Route 360 for approximately .7 miles to the stoplight at Old Hickory Drive. • Turn left onto Old Hickory Drive. • At the stop sign, continue straight for approximately .1 mile on Sherwood Crossing Place. Library will be on your left. From the South: • Take I-95 North to I-64 East (to Norfolk). • Take the Mechanicsville exit (Route 360 East). • Continue past the 1-295 interchange on Route 360. • Merge into the left lane and continue on Route 360 for approximately one (1) mile to the stoplight at Old Hickory Drive. • Turn left onto Old Hickory Drive. • At the stop sign, continue straight for approximately .1 mile on Sherwood Crossing Place. Library will be on your left. (757-393-8031). There is a municipal parking garage behind the museum on Middle Street; bring your ticket to the meeting to be validated for reduced parking fee of $5.00. FROM NORFOLK, VIRGINIA BEACH (VIA DOWNTOWN TUNNEL) Take Interstate 264 West toward Norfolk/Portsmouth. Go through the Downtown Tunnel. Take first exit (Exit 7 – Downtown Portsmouth) and bear right. Continue to stoplight (Court Street) and make a left. Follow to second stoplight (High Street). Make a right and the Hall of Fame is located one block down on your left at 206 High Street. FROM NORFOLK, VIRGINIA BEACH (VIA MIDTOWN TUNNEL) Take Hampton Blvd. through the Midtown Tunnel to Portsmouth. Once in Portsmouth follow highway to stoplight at High Street and make a left on High Street. Continue down and the Hall of Fame, 206 High Street, will be on your left-hand side. FROM CHESAPEAKE (GREENBRIER/GREAT BRIDGE) Take Interstate 464 towards Norfolk and follow signs to Portsmouth through the Downtown Tunnel. Stay in the right lane going through the tunnel and take the first exit (Exit 7 – Downtown Portsmouth) and bear right. Continue to stoplight (Court Street) and make a left. Follow to second stoplight (High Street). Make a right and the Hall of Fame is located one block down on your left at 206 High Street. FROM WILLIAMSBURG, RICHMOND, HAMPTON, NEWPORT NEWS Take Interstate 64 East to Interstate 664 South through the Monitor Merrimac Bridge Tunnel. Continue on Interstate 664 to Interstate 264 East towards Norfolk/Portsmouth. Take the last exit before the Downtown Tunnel which is Exit 7B (Downtown Portsmouth/Crawford Street). Follow exit to stoplight and make left onto Court Street. Continue for three more stoplights to High Street. Make a right and the Hall of Fame is located one block down on your left at 206 High Street.
