04/28/14 03:16 20721 STATE ROUTE 291, HARRISONVILLE On April 28th 2014, at approximately 0322 hours I was dispatched to the area East 215th street, and North 291 highway in reference to a structure fire. My investigation revealed that the fire was of an unknown cause.

04/28/14 07:36 PECULIAR DR/CASS PARKWAY, BELTON On 04-28-14 at approximately 0753 hours I was dispatched to the area of Peculiar Drive and N cass Parkway in reference to an abandoned vehicle. Upon arrival I contacted Dennis Hall who stated he had found a red 2012 Chevrolet truck bearing Louisianna license abandoned in a field while hunting. The vehicle was removed from the field by J's Southland Tow service. One suspect has been identified at this time.

My investigation revealed that the reporting party received several texts from a subject who he has an active exparte against. A suspect has been identified.

I then took Danielle M Chaney into custody on Cass County warrant # 12CA-CR01152 for Burglary, bond $10,000 10% cash only, Ms. Chaney was transported to the Cass County Jail.

04/28/14 15:26 700 ARNOLD ST, CREIGHTON On April 28, 2014, at approximately 1530 hours, I was dispatched to the area of East 4th Street and Arnold Street in Creighton, Missouri, in reference to a theft. My investigation revealed that several copper and aluminum cables where stolen from power poles at that location.

04/28/14 15:38 22807 291ST ST, HARRISONVILLE On 04-28-14 at approximatley 1541 hours I responded to the front lobby of the Sheriff's Office in reference to a walk in animal bite. Upon arrival I contacted John Casaert who stated he had been bit by a dog while inspecting a house as part of his business. This case will be referred to the Cass County Health Department for follow up.

04/29/14 05:45 SB 49 AT C HIGHWAY, PECULIAR On April 29, 2014 at about 0545 hours, Belton Police Officer Bechtel reported that he had a vehicle refusing to yield and the vehicle had been reported stolen. I was involved in the pursuit and assisted in stopping the vehicle on southbound Interstate 49 near the Peculiar exit. All three occupants (suspect) of the vehicle were placed under arrest and identified.

04/29/14 14:25 7001 163RD STREET, BELTON On 04-29-14 at approximately 1445 hours I responded to Belton Police Department located at 7001 E 163rd Street in Belton, MO in reference to a prisoner transfer. Upon arrival I took custody of Benjamin Roe for an active Cass County warrant for being a fugitive from out of state. Mr. Roe was transported to the Cass County Jail for processing. A bond of $10,000 Cash Only had been set and a court date was given.

04/29/14 19:20 PLAZA/MECHANIC, HARRISONVILLE On Tuesday, April 29, 2014 I conducted an investigative traffic stop on Plaza St. near Mechanic St. in Harrisonville, MO on a silver 1998 Pontiac Gran Prix . Matthew A. Russell was arrested for Archie, MO warrant 14-CAFTA-400 for minor in possession, Archie, MO warrant 14-CAFTA-399 for possession of marijuana, and Archie, MO warrant 14-CAFTA-401 for possession of drug paraphernalia with the total bond being $300 cash only. Mr. Russell was also cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Russell was released to Archie Police Department.

04/29/14 19:37 27500 STATE HIGHWAY C, FREEMAN On April 29, 2014 at about 1937 hours, I was Dispatched to 27500 State Highway C (Harold's Smoke Stack) in reference to check the welfare. Upon arrival I contacted Mr. Jeffrey E. Neudeck who was sitting in a blue 1993 GMC pickup in the parking lot. Mr. Neudeck admitted he was too drunk to drive. A computer inquiry revealed Mr. Neudeck had an Independence MO Warrant for failure to appear. Mr. Neudeck was placed under arrest and transported to the Cass County Jail.

Sack 650, responded to 2401 Hillside Drive in Harrisonville, Missouri reference to providing K9 assistance to the Harrisonville Police Department as well as the Cass County Sheriff's Office Tactical(TAC) Team while serving a search warrant. Four subjects were taken into custody.

04/30/14 19:48 18606 227TH ST, PECULIAR On Wednesday, April 30th, 2014 I conducted an investigation in regards to a domestic assault that occurred at the residence of 18606 East 227th Street in rural Harrisonville, Missouri. Only the victim, identified as Amber Taylor was on scene upon my arrival. Ms. Taylor stated that suspect had slapped her during an argument and left the scene prior to my arrival. The Sheriff's Office investigation is on going due to not being able to contact the suspect in this incident.

Upon arrival I contacted Connie Chevalier who stated someone had stolen the mail from her mailbox the past two days. At this time no suspects have been identified in this case.

I contacted Joseph H. Jennings who said that someone had entered onto the leased property through a fence and took trash items from the property.

05/04/14 02:41 1501 SCOTT, BELTON On May 4 at about 0241 hours, I conducted a vehicle stop on a 1998 black GMC pickup truck. Upon contacted the driver he was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. The driver gave a false name and birth date upon initial contact. Upon finding a wallet inside the vehicle the driver was identified as Pedro Diaz Vasquez. Mr. Vasquez had Cass County Warrant, Belton Warrant and was also charged with unlawful possession of a weapon.

Mr. Charles Wheeldon reported a large number of prescription medication had been stolen from the residence. Suspect has been identified.

Upon arrival I contacted Diana Purvis who stated the suspect had called her several times and then parked in front of her residence and waved at her from across the street. A suspect has been identified in this case.

Upon arrival I contacted the reporting party, Ms. Marlene L. Cummings who told me that she did not want Barbara Kenyon on the property. Ms. Kenyon had permission to be on the property by the property owner. There was no apparent crime during this incident.

After contacting a white male driving a black 2001 Acura four door, it was found that he was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was cited and released.
