Creating Document via Rich-Text Dialogs

EXAMPLE: CREATING A IN EXCEPTIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Enter the appropriate paragraph either by selecting from the Lookup Table or manually typing in the field, completing any prompts as necessary.

Locate and access the item to be hyperlinked on the external website (ie through the County Recorder Office):

Copy the address (typically clicking at the end of the address will highlight the entire address) by right click/copy or Control C:

In Select, open the Requirement or Exception, highlight the text to hyperlink. Click the Add a Hyperlink :

The Add Hyperlink will open. Paste the link into the Address field (right click/paste or Control V)

NOTE: The Text to display (name) field will autopopulate with the text that was highlighted.

Click OK.

The text will now be underlined indicating a hyperlink.

NOTE: Only documents stored on an outside source (ie via a web address or published to SoftPro Live) can be accessed through a hyperlink. Documents stored on the company’s network cannot by accessed through a hyperlink. Those documents would need to be published to SoftPro Live and linked from there.

Do not attempt to use the E-mail Address icon or link to anything shown from the local .

To test the hyperlink, hold down the Control on the keyboard and single left click on the hyperlink.

To remove the hyperlink, click within the hyperlink text and click the Remove Hyperlink icon (NOTE: the icon will be grayed out until the is inside the hyperlink).

TO CREATE A HYPERLINK TO DOCUMENTS IN SOFTPRO LIVE:

THIS FEATURE IS ONLY AVAILABLE WHEN USING CHROME AS THE INTERNET BROWSER

Log into SoftPro Live. Access the appropriate file, click the Documents . Locate the document to link and click View.

When the document opens, copy the URL located at the top of the screen (typically clicking at the end of the address will highlight the entire address) by right click/copy or Control C:

In Select, open the Requirement or Exception, highlight the text to hyperlink. Click the Add a Hyperlink icon:

The Add Hyperlink dialog box will open. Paste the link (right click/paste or Control V) NOTE: The Text to display (name) field will autopopulate with the text that was highlighted.

Click OK.

When the document containing the hyperlink is viewed, clicking on the hyperlink will take the user to the SoftPro Live login .

After entering their login information, the linked document will open.
