Old of St. Minver, Wadebridge selling at 152p/kg and £1,137 to David Ellis of Lelant. A grand entry of 2 year old South Devon x steers for Mr. T.G. Hawke of Colan saw trios hit £1,190 and £1,175. Two pairs of younger Charolais x steers for Messrs. J. & S. Trembath of Zennor sold at £1,130 and £1,090. Young Limousin x cattle for Mr. M.J.P. Williams of Manaccan saw yearling steers to £890 and heifers to £800. A run of yearling Herefords also for Mr. T.G. Hawke saw trios of steers and heifers to £885 and £750 respectively. Top price heifers were a smart pair of 2 year old Limousin crosses from Messrs. W.S. Younger calves saw four March-born Limousin x heifers from Messrs. J.A. & L.S.M. Tripconey of St. Keverne top at £220 averaging £205. An entry of stirks from Messrs. S. & S.F. Cotterill of St. Michael Penkivel sold to a top of £420 apiece for three British Blue x heifers. 20 Bulls Limousin x to £250 for Messrs. J.C.
