Through our partner agencies and direct distributions, the food bank is now serving over 88,000 people weekly, an increase of 27 percent. Yes, these numbers are startling, but hunger can be solved if we all get involved. Tonight we will ask you to make a tax deductible contribution to the Capital Area Food Bank to help provide 50,000 more meals.
