As the actor behind season 5's main villain, Ifrah had no qualms about the resolution to Bibi's plot. "I would have been surprised if it would have turned out any other way," he admitted. "I think it's good for the show and more satisfying, perhaps, that it ended this way and that, in particular, Quasim, played by a wonderful colleague Ali Reza Byram, saved the day. "

Clearly, that bookend means that Bibi will no longer be a part of "Homeland." However, Ifrah is still excited Doctors? that he and his ensemble cast have been honored as nominees at the 2016 SAG Awards.

"It's a huge honor, and I'm glad to say, I'll be attending," he beamed. "I've been honored with an award in ENTERTAINMENT Germany, but none of that has been on the level that this will be.
