It is with great sadness that I and my family learned of Marianne's passing. The whole Bosc family but especially myself would like to send our sincere condolences. Heaven is made better by her presence and her music. We are diminished by the vacuum that her passing has created.

Our deepest condolences on the passing of Marianne, to her children and family. I lost my aunt to breast cancer 2 weeks ago. I wanted to share this...Last night as I was kissing my 11 yr. old daughter "goodnight" I glanced by her night stand and noticed she had written a note with drawings in her notebook..I asked for her to show it to me...it said," I pray for thee Marianne Turner. A great lady and a wonderful accompanist! You will be missed. You will be with me in soul as I continue my musical journey". Marianne was a wonderful vocal accompanist and inspired many young voice and piano students like my daughter. She accompanied voice students for their RCM exams and Festivals giving of her time and energy which was greatly appreciated. I, as her ORMTA colleague was fortunate to have been accompanied by her too. As singers, my daughter and I are certain that she is accompanying the angel choirs in Heaven at this moment. God Bless!

My thoughts are with Marianne's family and those who have been touched by her during her time here.

In the 1970's, during the Niagara Falls Kiwanis Music Festival piano competitions, maestro Rivoli Iesularo would actually say "Watch out for Langhorne." Talk about 12 year-old pressure! Her performance, passion and technique in competition actually created a musical intimidation factor.

Then, when we attended the same high school, I actually got to meet this "childhood musical nemesis." She was a fierceful flautist in the concert band. Marianne was seconded to the jazz/stage band under the direction of Gordon Smallwood - and she decently faked the provided scores.

Three decades later, I am pleased to see that Marianne had come back to touch many communities and lives.

M'Lady, I respectfully doff my hat to you and your family.

'I shall remember you when twilight gently falls...and hear your voice when then lilting robin calls. I shall remember you with each recurring spring..all natures's loveliness, some thought of you will bring...." Marianne was my friend, collegue, accompanist and encourager. I will miss her dearly.... her sarcastic sense of humour and her giftedness. To her beloved children and family, I off you my sympathy and heartfelt sadness at this time in your lives. In time, I hope you will find much confort in your memories. Her gift of music will live on in so many lives that she touched.

May the love of your family and each other comfort you during this difficult journey in life.

We are very sorry for the loss of Marianne, who was a very loved Musician, and a very good Organist at Christ Church. Both of us enjoyed singing under her direction while we were members of Christ Church, as we have now moved to the Windsor area. When ever we went back for a visit, she always had a bright smile on her face and welcomed us back with open arms.

We hope that this little message will help you recover from your loss. Rest in peace Marianne, our love to you all.

"Thank you so much for every moment of musical beauty you and I could make together, Marianne. I shall never forget you."

I am deeply sorry to hear of the loss of Marianne - one of the loveliest accompanists I have ever encountered on my musical journey. I shall always carry the many wonderful memories with me. She was always encouraging to me, she helped me on my way and played with such devotion and passion, always serving the music in the best possible way. A true artist, and a wonderful woman. My condolences to the family.

Our deepest sympathy to Ian and Meagan and to the rest of your family. Marianne touched us all, she accompanied my violin students for RCM exams and Kiwanis Music Festival - if the violinists made a mistake, they magically disappeared because Marianne so skillfully chased the mistakes away. Marianne was also an excellent keyboard musician in our orchestra, Oshawa Durham Symphony Orchestra(ODSO) - always played with a smile - and with our Suzuki Workshops in Uxbridge, she knew the repertoire, always played with great ease, a true professional musician. Marianne's self confidence always came through, her happiness for life and the love of music is an example to us all. Thank you for your support, inspiration and dedication. God Bless. Kathy

Marianne touched the hearts of many students and their families, not only with her musical expertise but her beautiful spirit. Please accept my deepest condolences.

I have been deeply saddened by Marianne's untimely passing.

I have had the great pleasure of playing together with Marianne several times in the 80's. I recall playing with her Beethoven and Schumann Sonatas for Steven Staryk, who commented on how well she played. Aside from her obvious musical talent, Marianne will be remembered most of all as a bright, kind and generous person.

Marianne will be greatly missed. Peter Soltysiak

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Marianne's death. She was such a talented pianist and a terrific piano teacher. She taught one of our daughters piano and accompanied both of them when they sang at Kiwanis and when my older daughter had violin exams. We have her children and family in our thoughts and prayers. The world is a sadder place without her.

I only learned of Marianne's passing today.

Marianne was a very good friend of mine in University and I have many fond memories of her including playing piano duets and attending many musical concerts with her. When our lives took us both to Toronto, we would meet for lunch. Marianne and her family came to our cottage a few summers ago for a visit. We had a wonderful time together with our children.

To all of her family, I am very sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful, intelligent, warm person who loved to laugh.
