The library is fitted with low lighting, blinds drawn with portable sensory equipment, comfy bean bags and a range of books, posters, toys and other resources to help create a comfortable calm space for children and families. An adjacent activity area with colourful painted walls provides space for storytelling. The library staff are more autism aware and provides simple adjustments in order to provide support to make visiting the library a fun and inclusive experience for people with autism and learning disabilities.
