This project is expected to lower the company's energy use by 29 percent and save 3,116 kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity per year. This project is expected to lower his energy use by six percent and save 5,491 kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity per year. Singleton Farms Tom Cotton (01) Partnership is a family-owned soybean and corn farming operation in Watson, Ark. This project is expected to save $4,320 per year and replace 43,982 kilowatts (99 percent of the company's energy use) annually. AR John Boozman, Rick Crawford Arsoft LLC $12,838 This Rural Development investment will be used to help this locally-owned property management business in Tom Cotton (01) Pocahontas, Ark., install an 18.4 kilowatt rooftop solar array. This project is expected to save $3,242 per year and replace 27,950 kilowatt hours (91 percent of the company's energy use) annually. AR John Boozman, Rick Crawford Jessland Plantation $11,413 This Rural Development investment will be used to help Jessland Plantation install two electric irrigation well Tom Cotton (01) motors. This project is expected to save $691 per year and replace 43,963 kilowatt hours annually (66 percent of the company's energy use). AZ Mark Kelly, Tom O'Halleran Forestdale Farm LLC $5,534 This Rural Development investment will be used to help make energy efficiency upgrades. Forestdale Farm, a Kyrsten Sinema (01) small family-run organic produce farm in rural Flagstaff, Ariz, will use the grant to purchase a 1.7-kilowatt photovoltaic system with battery backup. The improvements are expected to generate 2,555 kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, equivalent to 25 percent of the usage of a typical U.S. home. More importantly the battery backup will allow the farms water well pump motor to run without a generator and is expected to reduce the farms expenses $3,000 per year, savings the farm can invest back into its operations. Castle Cabinets, Kyrsten Sinema (02) purchase a renewable energy system. Castle Cabinets, a small custom-built cabinetry and millwork business, will use these funds to purchase a 40-kilowatt solar photovoltaic system to supply a portion of the electricity required to operate their new data storage facility near Sunizona, Ariz. The renewable energy system is expected to generate 67,290 kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, the amount used by 6.25 average U.S. homes, and reduce the business expenses $9,420, savings they can invest back into their operations.
