A competitor is eliminated when he goes over the top rope and both feet hit the ground. Pinfalls and submissions do not count as eliminations. 5.1.3. The WWE Royal Rumble ends when there is only one Wrestler remaining in the ring. 5.2. The Game 5.2.1. After the Game Preliminaries Specified in Section 4 are completed, the WWE Royal Rumble is started on The Screen. 5.2.2. During the match, all Contestants are to take the Allocated Shots based on the actions of their Wrestlers as specified in Sections 5.3, 5.4, and 5.5. 5.2.3. The WWE Royal Rumble is watched until the final Wrestler remains. 5.2.3.1. A pause or break will be allowed at group consensus for discussion of a rule or its application. 5.2.3.2. A pause or break will be allowed at group consensus for a Contestant to “catch up” on their Shots if they have received many successive in a short amount of time. This rule is to be applied sparingly, and only in the case of an unusually large allocation in a short period of time. 5.3. Wrestler Entrances 5.3.1. Upon each entry of a new Wrestler, all Contestants that did NOT draw that Wrestler in 4.3 must do a Shot of Beer. 5.3.1.1. typically enters the ring with his “hoes”. The Contestant who drew The Godfather is required to take the same quantity of Shots of Beer as the number of “hoes” that accompany The Godfather to the ring. 5.3.2. If the Contestant’s Wrestler enters first or second overall, then the Contestant must do a Shot of Jameson upon their entry. 5.3.2.1. All other Contestants must still do a Shot of Beer as specified in Section 5.3.1. 5.3.2.2. The Chain Rule - If the first and second Wrestlers were drawn by the same Contestant, then the Contestant will continue to do a Shot of Jameson for each subsequent Wrestler that they drew, until another Contestant’s Wrestler enters. 5.4. Wrestler Actions - Beer 5.4.1. As stated by the Wrestler Entrances Rules in Section 5.3.1. 5.4.2. The Contestant will do three (3) Shots of Beer upon elimination of that Contestant’s Wrestler, except for the below circumstances: 5.4.2.1. The Contestant will do five (5) Shots of Beer if the Contestant’s Wrestler is eliminated by a Wrestler also belonging to that Contestant. 5.4.2.2. The Contestant will do five (5) Shots of Beer if the Contestant’s 5.4.2.3. Wrestler was last to enter, and is eliminated before the next Wrestler enters. 5.4.2.4. The Contestant will do a Shot of Beer if the Contestant’s Wrestler has a mustache OR a mullet. 5.4.6.1. The Contestant will do a Shot of Jameson if the Contestant’s Wrestler has both a mustache AND a mullet. 5.4.6.2. If there is not consensus around the qualifications of the mustache or mullet, then a female, preferably not a Contestant, will act as arbiter. 5.4.7. Big Guy Rule – If the Contestant’s Wrester is classified a “Big Guy” (example: Andre the Giant, Earthquake, , etc.) then different elimination rules apply. The number of Wrestlers that team up and eliminate the Big Guy dictates the quantity of Shot of Beer allocated to the Contestant. 5.4.7.1. Whether or not a Wrestler is defined as a “Big Guy” depends on how the Wrestler is booked, not their actual mass. 5.4.8. “Maven Rule” – At group consensus, a Contestant may be allocated a Shot of Beer if their Wrestler acts in an embarrassing manner, or is the recipient of an embarrassing act. 5.4.8.1. If the act is extreme in nature then the Contestant may be required to take a Shot of Jameson instead of Beer as specified in Section 5.5.8 5.4.8.2. Consult Section 8.1.1 for case studies. 5.5. Wrestler Actions - Jameson 5.5.1. As stated in Section 5.3.2. 5.5.2. As stated in Section 5.4.6.1. 5.5.3. Upon elimination of the Wrestler: 5.5.3.1. The Contestant will do a Shot of Jameson if the Contestant’s Wrestler is eliminated by a Wrestler of the opposite gender. 5.5.3.1.1. (Revised 2018) – “eliminated by a female” changed to “eliminated by a Wrestler of the opposite gender” after the addition of the “Diva’s” Rumble. 5.5.3.2. The Contestant will do a Shot of Jameson if the Contestant’s Wrestler is eliminated by a Wrestler that is presently deceased. 5.5.4. The Contestant will do a Shot of Jameson if the Contestant’s Wrestler receives a Signature Move or “finisher” from another Wrestler. 5.5.4.1. “Noah Rule” circa 2007 – Execution of the Signature Move is required, but it is not necessary that move is executed “cleanly”. Poor or “botched” execution of the Signature Move still meets the requirements for Section 5.5.4. 5.5.4.2. “Jimmy King Rule” – If the Contestant’s Wrestler receives the “King’s Crown”, the signature move of Jimmy King, the Contestant must take a Shot of Jameson, regardless of the Wrestler that delivered the signature move. 5.5.4.3. Consult Section 8.3 for case studies. 5.5.5. The Contestant will do a Shot of Jameson if the Contestant’s Wrestler bleeds. 5.5.6. The Contestant will do a Shot of Jameson if the Contestant’s Wrestler receives a “Low Blow” to the genitals. 5.5.7. The Contestant will do a Shot of Jameson if the Contestant’s Wrestler attempts to perform a pin on another Wrestler. 5.5.8. “Maven Rule” – Similar to Section 5.4.8, at group consensus, a Contestant may be allocated a Shot of Beer if their Wrestler acts in an extremely embarrassing manner, or is the recipient of an extremely embarrassing act. 5.5.8.1. Consult Section 8.1.2 for case studies. 5.5.9. “Flair Flop” – If the Contestant drew , the Contestant must take a Shot of Jameson each time that Rick Flair performs the “Flair Flop” 5.5.10. “The Mr. Winnig Rule” – At any point during the contest and upon group consensus, the name of any Wrestler may be changed to a new name decided by the group. If a Contestant calls a Wrestler by their real name, then they must take a Shot of Jameson. 5.5.10.1. This rule does not apply when a Contestant is using the original name to describe the rule to another Contestant. 5.5.10.2. When playing in teams, all members of the team must take a Shot of Jameson if any team member uses the original name. 5.5.11. If multiple rules listed in sections 5.4.2 and 5.5.3 apply to a single elimination: 5.5.11.1. All Jameson Shots must be taken, even if there are multiple. 5.5.11.2. If any James Shots are required, then all Beer Shots may be foregone. 5.5.11.3. If there are multiple rules that require Shots of Beer, then only the greatest quantity is required, and the rest may be foregone. 5.5.11.4. If the wrestler is eliminated via a Signature Move which sends the wrestler over the top rope and out of the ring, then Jameson is required and all Beer shots may be foregone.
