That’s the major question right now for the baseball team in Milwaukee, which traded base stealer extraordinare Scott Podsednik to the White Sox in exchange for Lee (.305Avg. 31HR 99RBI). He gives them the right handed power bat they’ve been lacking for a while to go sandwiched in between lefty hitters Lyle Overbay (All-Star) and veteran outfielder Geoff Jenkins. Jenkins (.851 career OPS), Lee and likely Brady Clark will compose the Brewers outfield. Behind the plate is Damian Miller, who works very well with start pitchers as he did in Arizona, Oakland and Chicago, so he will have no trouble handling Ben Sheets. Chad Moeller, an ex-teammate of Miller’s with the Diamondbacks, should spell him for about 40-50 games and be a decent backup. I question how good Clark can be in the everyday lineup, markedly as the leadoff man. Clark was decent in 2004, batting .280 and stealing 15 bases. Still, don’t see him staying there long if he’s only score 40-50 runs per season. And Clark will get the chance to touch home plate with guys like Lee, Overbay and Jenkins behind him. Russell Branyan poses a threat when on the field. Despite striking out quite often, he hit 11 dingers in 51 games. Branyan, whose 81 home runs are the most of someone with less than 1500 plate appearances, would relish the opportunity to start every day or get upwards of 250 at-bats.

    Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC) Annual Report Fiscal Year 2018 October 1, 2017 – September 30, 2018 A. Background Public Law 108-15, approved on April 23, 2003, established the CCAC to advise the Secretary of the Treasury on themes and design proposals relating to circulating coinage, commemorative coinage, bullion coinage, Congressional Gold Medals, and national medals. This report presents the CCAC’s recommendations for commemorative coinage in each of the next five calendar years, and summarizes the CCAC’s activities during fiscal year 2018. B. CCAC Recommendations 1. General Recommendations The CCAC encourages the highest standards of artistic excellence for America’s coins and medals. The CCAC recognizes the importance of the nation’s coinage, not only in facilitating the needs of commerce, but also as an artistic medium to recognize the significant achievements of the nation and its people, to honor great national leaders of the past, and to illustrate the foundational values of the republic. With recognition toward these goals, the CCAC serves as a resource in the review and development of proposals for circulating coinage and circulating commemoratives, and through providing recommendations on commemorative programs and medals. 2. Circulating Commemoratives Since the beginning of the 50 State Quarters® Program in 1999, the nation’s pocket change has been augmented with an assortment of new circulating commemorative coins.     FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE February 11, 2020 2020 INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE FIELD MANAGERS EIGHT IL CLUBS TO BE LED BY NEW SKIPPERS THIS SEASON When the International League's 137th season opens on April 9, eight of the circuit’s fourteen teams will have a new manager leading the quest to capture the coveted Governors’ Cup trophy. Only six managers return from the 2019 season, although several of the League’s new field generals bring pre-existing ties to their teams and communities. It is the first time since 2006 that more than half of the circuit’s clubs changed managers during an offseason. The reining IL Manager of the Year Damon Berryhill is the International League’s longest- tenured manager, preparing to begin his fourth season at the helm of the Gwinnett Stripers. Also hoping to get his team back to the postseason is Brady Williams, who took Durham to the finals in his first year with the Bulls in 2019. They will be challenged in the South Division by another returning manager in Norfolk, Gary Kendall. The 2018 IL Manager of the Year, Lehigh Valley’s Gary Jones, will lead the IronPigs once again this season. Like Jones, Brian Esposito in Indianapolis is also at the helm for the third straight campaign. IL Hall of Famer Billy McMillon will manage the Red Sox for the franchise’s final season at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket. Two men have found themselves moving from a coach’s role to the manager’s chair in 2020. Pennsylvania-native Doug Davis (former Syracuse manager) takes over in Scranton/Wilkes- Barre after three seasons coaching, while in Columbus, Ohio-native Andy Tracy is the new manager after helping lead the Clippers to the 2019 Governors’ Cup title as hitting coach.

The nominee should have attained goals of lasting significance to the Association and the numismatic industry. This award is not limited to members of ANA.
