SAINTS IN “THE SHOW” Twenty-seven former University of St. Francis players have signed FEATURING professional baseball contracts during the 39-year history of the H USF Head Baseball program with four of those individuals having reached the major- league level. Coach Brian Michalak Infielder Kevin Rhomberg, the Saints’ all-time single-season leader H USF Coaching Staff in batting average (.465), made it up with the Cleveland Indians in & Team the early 1980’s. Sean Lawrence, who went 10-1 on the mound for the Saints in 1992, was called up to the majors in 1998. Outfielder Les Norman, whose batting prowess led the Saints to the 1989 and 1990 NAIA World Series, reached the majors twice with the WINTER Kansas City Royals. Steve Parris, a teammate of Norman’s, led a stellar pitching staff BASEBALL that carried St. Francis to the 1989 national title game. Parris first reached “The Show” with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1995 and later CAMPS 2013 was an outstanding pitcher in the Cincinnati Reds’ rotation. He 1st thru 4th Grades also pitched in the Toronto Blue Jays’ and Tampa Bay Devil Rays’ organizations.
