KEY FOR PROJECT PHASE
Planning: Project needs further definition, community input, funding, a new location or City Council approval.
Design: The Design Consultant investigates the site and available information and prepares the scope for the project, outlines the design criteria and starts construction drawings. The design package is completed in preparation for the bid and procurement process.
Bid & Award: Construction is advertised for bids, which are received and evaluated. A Construction Contractor is selected and placed under contract.
Construction: Construction begins.
Implementation: All professional and/or construction services have been contracted and are working towards delivering the final product.
Contract Closure: Contractor establishes substantial project completion and facility or roadway is available for use. Contractor and City continue to finalize final acceptance documentation.
City of New Orleans Close Out: Final acceptance documentation is turned over to the City of New Orleans.
