By tapping into our existing contractual vehicles through our Cooperative Contracts program, DIR anticipates a much- shortened procurement process for customers. In addition, state agencies may participate in the hardware bulk purchase initiative without being constrained by dollar thresholds. DIR has concluded vendor negotiations and customers may now issue purchase orders. The time period for placing orders will cross fiscal years, so agencies will be able to use either Fiscal Year 2019 or Fiscal Year 2020 dollars toward these purchases through September 30, 2019. The following sections lists ordering instructions and configurations for laptops, tablets, and accessories. Instructions for ordering Regardless of the number of items purchased, each customer will pay the same, discounted, unit price for items including but not limited to laptops, tablets, accessories, and related services listed in the following section. In addition, DIR could not anticipate every accessory item needed by each customer. If a specific cable or other accessory item is not listed, please contact your Microsoft Surface rep for Bulk Purchase discount on that item. This bulk purchase is open to all eligible DIR customers. Eligible DIR customers should contact the following authorized resellers to receive a customized Microsoft Surface quote at Bulk Purchase discount rates.
