The specific number depends on your device model and manufacturer. • Want to unlock an Apple device? You still have to submit an unlock request for iPhones®, but won’t need an unlock code to complete the process. Plus, iPads® and Apple Watches® are already unlocked, so you don’t have to submit an unlock request for them. • Follow instructions carefully. Use extreme care during the unlock process. If you incorrectly enter an unlock code too many times during the life of the device, you’ll permanently disable the unlock ability.
