The focus of my letter to you all this week is about the RCIA. You might hear some terms at Mass that are unfamil- iar to you about the RCIA process. The people who are joining the Church are referred to as Catechumens or Candidates. The difference between the two is that the Catechumens have not been baptized in any way, and the Candidates have been baptized in another faith.
