Sunday saw the morning of sports, it was an extremely blowy morning but all our clubs were in attendance at their competitions Puddletown YFC took 2nd place in the Mixed Netball, Marshwood Vale YFC came 3rd in Football. Sturminster Newton represented Dorset YFC e the top three, they did work so hard. A big thank you to everyone who helped our teams along to get to where they did at the weekend I know they really appreciated your Vice Chairman support and thank you to everyone who came to cheer our members along. As I hope you are all aware on Saturday 20th April 2019 we have our very first Dorset Young Farmers Rally and Show. A lot of preparation has been going on behind the scenes and there have been numerous Rally meetings taking place. Site visits have been made and we are now pushing for assistance from our members, associated, VP’s, Hon Members, past and present Chairman and Presidents so please if you have a couple of hours to spare please contact the County Office and let us know Email: [email protected] anyone who helps on the day will be able to have a complimentary entry as a thank you. There is lots planned from a Dog Show and lots of Main Ring attractions which will be competitions and displays including a Tractor Parade and a Chariot Race. Financial Implications When neighbourhood plans are successful at examination and a referendum date has been set, the council becomes eligible for a grant of £20,000. This grant is intended to cover the costs associated with the council’s input into the production of a neighbourhood plan including the costs associated with the examination, referendum and the printing of the final plan.

This report will be used as part of the evidence base in the production of the Council’s Core Strategy. 1.3 This supporting document aims to generate options for the identification of sustainable settlements. These towns and villages will be the focus for future development and will be shown with a settlement boundary in the Council’s Core Strategy. 1.4 This report serves as only a part of the evidence base which will inform the production of the Council’s Core Strategy.
