B & W photo on card mount. Officers', NCO's & Men of 2nd c/1850-1890 used by Convict Department, Police & Prisons, large size REO's. Unit photo by "A. Galloway, Kurri Kurri & Cessnock". Good clear image together with an key, not maker marked, but match numbered cuffs & key "71", alphabetical computer listing of 2nd REO's, 35 BN members. GC.$50 -- $100 swivel-joint link type. As used by Convict, Prisons & Police Departments until around 1900, traces of nickel plating. VGC. Original & scarce.$300$500 9016 1918 Trench art (bazaar made) Damascus 1918. German made (Krupp, Jan 1917) Turkish 77mm shell case. Brass body with iron base. 9006 1899-1902 Boer War Australian nurse's Lord Kitchener mementoes. Body richly decorated with inlaid copper & silver Islamic designs & 3 silver teaspoons all engraved "Kroonstad" (Orange Free State), each floreate symbols. 3x cartouches to centre with silver inlay Islamic script & with an Imperial soldier design to the handle & a fancy twisted stem. Also "DAMASCUS 1918". Stands 280mm high. Tarnish, minor dents. Overall included is a period photo of the sisters & their quarters taken somewhere VGC. Highly unusual & attractive souvenir brought home by a Digger, in South Africa.
