Other implementing agencies will be the Public Disclosure Authorized Departments of Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Marketing and Agribusiness, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries; Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Tamil Nadu Fisheries University (TNFU), and Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS). A project implementation cell (PIC) will be established in each of participating line department and agency to oversee the implementation of their specific activities. The key functions of each PIC will be to prepare, implement, monitor their annual work plans and coordinate with MDPU. The PIC will consist of a nodal officer, and other staff in technical, procurement, finance, and safeguards areas as needed.
