1. Minnesota plays its third contest of a four-game road trip in Boston Tuesday, after visiting New Jersey Saturday and the Islanders Sunday. After going 3-0-0 in its first homestand of the year, Minnesota looks for its first road win, having posted a 0-2-1 record away from Minnesota this season. Last season, the Wild earned points in 24 of its 41 road contests (17-17-7).

2. Minnesota leads the NHL with 15 players who have scored at least one goal – two more than any other NHL team (MTL, NYI) – and it has 17 players who have tallied at least one point. Boston has had eight players score at least one goal this season and 13 players register at least one point. Entering play Monday, Minnesota ranks T-6th in the NHL with 19 goals this season, including two power-play goals and goals from four defensemen.

3. All three of Minnesota’s victories this season have come after allowing the game’s first goal – T-1st for most comeback victories in the NHL. Last season, Minnesota ranked last in the NHL with five comeback wins, posting a 5-25-6 record when its opponent scored first.

4. The Wild is 17-for-18 (94.4%) on the penalty kill this season, ranking third in the NHL entering play Monday. Minnesota killed off all of its first 12 opponent power plays this season, only allowing an Auston Matthews strike Thursday. Last season, Minnesota was tied with Carolina for fewest times shorthanded (204) but ranked 27th in the NHL with a 77.9% PK success rate (159-of-204). The Wild led the NHL in penalty the previous season, posting an 86.3 % PK success rate in 2014-15 (202-234).

5. Zach Parise scored his 300th NHL goal Sunday before notching No. 301, his 44th NHL multi-goal game. He also tied his career high by posting 10 shots on goal for the third time in his career (last, 10/11/14 at COL). The alternate captain is the NHL’s active goals leader among all American-born players. He joins Dave Christian (340) and (338) as the only Minnesota-born players to ever score 300 NHL goals. Parise is tied for the Wild lead with five points this season (2-3=5) and leads the team in shots (25), ranking third in the NHL entering play Monday. He has 19 points (8-11=19) in 30 career games against the Bruins.

6. Charlie Coyle had a four-game point streak to start the season (2-2=4), matching his career-long point streak. The East Weymouth native ranks T-2nd on the Wild in goals and T-3rd in points. Last season, the former BU Terrier set career highs in goals (21), points (42), shots (140), blocked shots (61) and TOI/game (17:18).

7. Christian Folin leads the Wild with a plus-5 rating in five games this season. The former UMass-Lowell River Hawk also leads the club with 14 hits this season. The Swedish blueliner posted four assists and 38 hits in 26 games with Minnesota last year, adding 13 points (4-9=13) in 28 games with Iowa (AHL).

8. Eric Staal tallied an assist Sunday and leads the Wild with three goals this season, ranking second in shots (15) and T-2nd in points (4). The forward will turn 32 Saturday and has 34 points (15-19=34) in 43 career games against the Bruins. He has 785 NHL points (328-457=785) in 935 career games – one of four NHL players who have played at least 900 games while tallying at least 300 goals, 400 assists and 700 points since entering the NHL in 2003-04 (Iginla, Marleau, D. Sedin). He signed a three-year contract ($10.5 million) with Minnesota on July 1.

9. Ryan Suter had a four-game point streak (1-4=5) to start the season, leads Minnesota in assists and is T-1st in points. The alternate captain leads the Wild and ranks third in the NHL with 27:01 TOI/game this season. The defenseman has eight points (1-7=8) in 12 career games against Boston. Last season, he matched his career high in goals and set career highs in assists and points (8-43=51).

10. Joel Eriksson Ek made his NHL debut Saturday night in New Jersey. The 19-year-old native of Karlstad, Sweden, became the 73rd player all-time to make his NHL debut with Minnesota, and with a second-period goal, became the seventh player to score a goal for the Wild in his NHL debut (Elias Sports Bureau). He was the Wild’s first-round Draft selection in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

11. Bruce Boudreau is in his first season with the Wild after being named head coach on May 7. In nine previous seasons in the NHL, he coached his team to a division title eight times. With a current NHL coaching record of 412-194-81, he leads active NHL coaches in win percentage (.659). He became the fastest coach in NHL history to reach the 400-win milestone (663 games) on March 5. Boudreau played parts of eight NHL seasons (1976-86) with Toronto and Chicago, totaling 70 points (28-42=70) in 141 games. He ranks 12th all- time in AHL history with 799 points (316-483=799) in 643 games.
