In his first season as an NHL Head Coach, Green led the Canucks to a 31-40-11 record employing an aggressive and fast style with a young core including Brock Boeser and Bo Horvat. Green was promoted from his role as Head Coach of the , the Canucks’ AHL affiliate, where he served for four seasons.
