    World Athletics Indoor Tour Regulations 2020 1. General Principles 1.1. Every year World Athletics shall grant an Indoor Permit to top athletics Meetings around the world comprising the World Athletics Indoor Tour. 1.2. Regulations governing the conduct of the World Athletics Indoor Tour shall be issued to the World Athletics Indoor Tour Organisers (the Organiser) and may be amended every year by World Athletics. 2. Calendar of Events In 2020, the World Athletics Indoor Tour shall comprise seven events which are listed in Appendix 1. Additional Meetings may be accepted in future years provided the Meeting has attained Area Permit status for at least one year. 3. Applications/Permit 3.1. An Application for a World Athletics Indoor Permit shall be sent by World Athletics to the Organiser prior to the start of the season. 3.2. Organisers shall return the Application to World Athletics by the indicated date, duly completed and countersigned by the World Athletics Member Federation. 3.3. World Athletics shall have sole right to approve or reject an Application. 3.4. An Application may not be considered if the World Athletics Indoor Permit Requirements were not met during the two last seasons or are not guaranteed in the Application. 3.5. Should the Application be accepted by World Athletics, the Organiser must sign an agreement with World Athletics in which the duties and rights of all parties are listed. 3.6. Unless otherwise decided by World Athletics, only meetings with a current Area Permit will be considered for an upgrade to World Athletics Permit status.
