Damals fand das Spiel im Aztekenstadion in Mexiko-Stadt mit der Begegnung Arizona Cardinals gegen San Francisco 49ers statt. Seit 2007 ist der Austragungsort für mindestens ein Spiel das Wembley Stadion in London, eines der größten Stadien Europas. In die- sem Jahr finden zwei Spiele im Wembley Stadion statt.
