Exciting developments and innovations have taken place in the Health Care Delivery Program. The Community Health Aide Program has proven to be one of the most accepted and cost effec tive programs developed in recent years in Alaska. Increased efforts have been made in the area of consumer involvement and participation in the Health Care Program. The Alaska Area Native Health Service has been instrumental in assisting the development of Regional Health Corpora tions in the 12 regional areas of Alaska.
